every time I speak
my thoughts jumble up
and are unable to turn to words.
I'm awkwardly standing there,
looking like I have nothing to say when in fact I have too much to mouth but cannot.there's a storm inside of me,
and I'm caged, unable to escape.
my words flying away,
slitting through my fingers,
and into the air
where I'll never see them again.an ocean full of tears,
a soul filled with pain,
and you wonder why I can't trust you,
when I'm unable to find faith in your eyes.'will you ever trust me?' you ask as you caress my cheek,
'my thoughts always die when I'm here,' I reply,
then you look at me in confusion and anger.maybe I can't trust you because I can't connect with you.
'I don't feel us.... anymore...' I whisper as I slowly look into your eyes.
