i want to see the light
but it's nowhere to be seen
in this cacophony of eerie black.where are you?
I whisper as I blindly run
breaths becoming short
my heart rate shooting through the roofI'm surrounded by an ocean of salty water
no silhouettes a n y w h e r e
they've run away
to let the bird swoop my soul awaywhy'd you leave me here?
I can't save myself,
and neither can you.the damage is done.
the bird is here now.
goodbye.
