dendrophobia: fear of being alone
—there was once a little girl
surrounded by the people of society.her only protection
were the stars in the night sky,
sheltering her soul
from the tenebrosity enclosing in.fast forward the time machine,
the sun rises from its deep slumber
and her starry shelter escapes from her eyes.
she not longer protected,
only vulnerable.that day,
it rained.
a beautiful yet pure sight it was,
cleansing all the once-chaotic hate of humanity.she now is no longer afraid of the world she lives in.
the reflective water vapour encompassing the sky,
now her knight-in-shining-armour.—
