as I flicker when I'm low,
as I glow when I brighten,
an obsession,
oh that wonderful but yet so wrong obsession,
of you.you see that switch on the lampshade?
that's gone when you're here.
I glow so that your eyes become blind
when you look,
and dim so the room is a black hole
when you disappear.where'd you go?
why didn't you come back?
I remain dim and subdued,
and that's what I'll forever remain.where are you now that I need you?

I seem to like using metaphors a lot, haha.
