what are you scared of?
those stares?
those faces?
your insecurities?
rejection?
or is it all of them?
think of everything
you could have done in the past
if you had not been afraid.
would you have been happier?
a better person than you are now?
and even so,
would you go back in time
to correct your mistakes,
but yet
face the humiliation again
and again
and
again ?
fear envelopes you and plunges you into darkness.
yet there's really nothing to fear
but fear itself.
