Mark was constantly on his phone the next day. He was on it so much that he was at the point of almost getting it confiscated from him, but he somehow managed to plead the teacher into letting him keep it.

And it was all just for Haechan.

The brunette wouldn't stop texting Mark. He didn't even talk to the blonde when they were in the same room--he just used text. He never wanted the conversation to rest, especially since it was Mark that he was talking to. But, he didn't realise that what he was doing was getting Mark in trouble, since the blonde was too nice to say anything.

It also made Mark forget that Tzuyu thought he liked her and that he was supposed to be clearning things up with Sicheng. That is...up until lunch.

"Get off your phone, Haechan! Pay attention to me!" Chenle whined, trying to get in the way of Haechan's phone screen.

"Us, too!" Jisung added, and the rest of the boys nodded in agreement.

Renjun took a sip from his juice cartoon. "I thought you didn't even like Mark anymore...why are you suddenly obsessed with him?" He waved his chopsticks around as he spoke.

"People's thoughts can change" Donghyuck replied bluntly, moving his head and phone away from Chenle, making the younger boy pout.

Renjun sighed and rolled his dark eyes. "I won't be surprised if you come back to us all sad again in a few days." He said, making a small laughter erupt from the boys, except for Donghyuck.

"Anyways, it doesn't look like he's gonna reply--look who he's talking to." Jeno pointed behind Haechan to the table where Mark was sitting along with Jaehyun and Sicheng. Mark hesitated before turning off his phone and turning his body to see the table. He saw the back of Tzuyu, as she was facing the boys; specifically Mark. He watched their mouths move without knowing what they were saying, but he thought that it had something to do with Mark love life as the blonde went pink several times.

"What do you think they're talking about?" Jaemin questioned.

"Not sure." Jeno replied.

"Maybe Tzuyu's asking Mark out--or vice versa!" Chenle suggested. Jisung noticed Haechan slump over at what Chenle said and lightly hit him on the head, a loud 'ow' being heard from the foreign boy. "I'm sure that's not it, Chenle." Jisung said grimly.

Donghyuck's eyes never left Mark and his group of friends. He watched as Sicheng suddenly stood up from his seat and bowed, leaving the cafeteria in a rush. Jaehyun looked at Mark before standing up and walking after Sicheng.

"Woah. What happened there?" One boy said, but Haechan was too engrossed as to what was going on to notice who it was.

He decided to turn away when he saw Tzuyu jump with excitement and reach down to hug Mark, who had an awkward smile on his lips.

"You okay, Haechan?" Jeno reached his hand over the lunch table, his eyebrows furrowed with worry.

The brunette looked up at his friend and smiled. "Yeah."

"Then why aren't you texting Mark again?" Chenle questioned. Jisung hit him once again. "Shut up!"

Haechan pursed his lips. He decided not to text Mark for the rest of the day.

Jaehyun walked with Sicheng back into the cafeteria to see Tzuyu holding Mark's hands, a wide smile on her face.

Sicheng saddened at the sight and quietly walked behind Jaehyun back to the lunch table.

"Wow, you said yes?" Jaehyun smirked, sitting down next to his best friend and wrapping an arm around his shoulders.

Mark nodded, glancing at Sicheng who was picking at his food.

Tzuyu let go of Mark's hands. "Well, I have to go back to my table--Dahyun's calling me. I'll see you this weekend?" She tilted her head a bit, strands of hair falling to the side.

"Yeah. I'll see you then." Mark smiled at her, and that's when she left.

"Wow, look at you! You finally got a girlfriend!" Jae congratulated Mark, but both the blonde and Sicheng felt hurt.

Mark couldn't say no. Saying no to Tzuyu was impossible, even if he didn't like her, and becase of that...

"I'm not dating her...we're just gonna hang out on the weekend." Mark explained rather loudly so that he was sure Sicheng heard it. He didn't want to hurt the person that he actually liked.

Jae squinted at him and said,"Whatever you say~" before letting go of Mark to go back to eating his food. Mark took out his phone to see if how many messages he got from Haechan. He was saddened and surprised to see that he got none. He looked around the cafeteria to see where Donghyuck was and what he was doing, anf found him on the other side of the crowded room, talking to his friends.

Why was Haechan suddenly not texting Mark?
