"You WHAT!?" Chenle excitedly slammed his hands on the cafeteria table, making the rest of the boys jump and people around them began to stare.
Jisung covered Chenle's mouth to prevent him from screaming any more, then looked at Haechan. "When did you kiss him?" He was way more calm compared to Chenle.
Haechan got butterflies in his stomach just from thinking about his first kiss. "At like...three in the morning the other day." He smiled, and Chenle let out a muffled squeal.
"Where even is Mark? Did he make up with his friends?" Jeno looked around the cafeteria but didn't see the brunette anywhere.
"He went to go apologize to Sicheng in person, and Jaehyun isn't here today, so..." Donghyuck shrugged.

"It's fine, really." Sicheng gave Mark a soft, warming smile, which made the brunette sigh with relief. This was way easier than he thought it would be. However, Mark still felt uneasy that his past crush was now dating his best friend--or, at least Mark thinks that Jaehyun is still his best friend.
The two quietly stood in the empty school hall until Sicheng began feeling awkward. "Uh.." he muttered, but didn't know what else to say.
The shorter boy scratched the back of his head. "Uh, do you know why Jaehyun isn't here today?" He tried to start a new conversation because he didn't want to go back to the cafeteria just yet, and he wanted to stop the awkwardness between them.
It surprised Mark that Sicheng's face fell when he mentioned Jaehyun. He expected the opposite from Jaehyun’s boyfriend.
"Is something going on between the two of you?" Mark asked, but got no answer. He guessed that he had asked too much, so he apologized.
Sicheng waved his hands in front of his face apologetically. "O-Oh, no--you didn't do anything." He softly smiled. "We're fine."
A small chuckle left Mark's lips. "Then can you tell me why you looked so down?"
Sicheng pursed his lips. "It's hard to speak in Korean." He told Mark. Sicheng's Korean had greatly improved, but he still wasn't the best. So, telling stories was harder for him.
Mark pressed a finger to his chin before snapping. "Ah, I can ask Chenle to translate!" He beamed, and a smile formed on Sicheng's face.
He brought the boy back to the cafeteria and to where Chenle was sitting, and all of the boy's eyes went to Sicheng and Mark.
"Well I guess you guys made up." Jaemin smiled, clasping his hands together on top of the table. Mark looked at Haechan who was looking back at him with an expression that looked like a mix of happiness and jealously. Haechan's dark eyes looked at Mark's hand which was intertwined with Sicheng's. Both boys noticed Haechan's gaze and they both immediately let go of each other's hands.
"Ah, yeah, we did." Mark smiled back at Jaemin, wiping his hand against his pants. Sicheng smiled as well before looking at Chenle then muttering something in Chinese. Chenle's eyes widened a bit before he nodded while saying,"Oh, sure."
Mark was suppose to be the only one listening to what Sicheng had to say, but since they were now in front of Haechan and his friends, everyone was waiting for Chenle to translate.
Sicheng would speak a bit in Chinese, then Chenle would translate.
"He's saying that Jaehyun isn't a school today because of him."
Sicheng spoke.
"He got really upset the other day because..." He waited until the oldest boy quietly spoke, and Chenle's eyes widened again, but this time he looked at Mark with worry. The brunette rose an eyebrow, curious as to what Sicheng had said until-
"He's moving back to China in a week."
Haechan watched his boyfriend purse his lips, but he could see in his eyes that somrthing inside of him had just broken. He quickly stood up and went to his side, interlocking his fingers with Mark's with a squeeze, but Mark didn't squeeze back.
He was dumbstruck, and so was everyone else, even if they weren't even close with Sicheng. However, they knew that Mark was.
No wonder Jaehyun didn't come to school.
