Matt's POV (For a little change)

I drove the guys and Amy to the hospital in Regina. Why does everything horrible happen to our band only? No idea why but I'm just hoping that Josh pulls through. Shawn even came with us since were both close friends as he was sitting next to me.

"So what happened exactly because I was inside the arena soundchecking with Lonnie."

"Well...him and Ian went to go get some Tim's and I think Josh was zoned out or texting Amy...then the semi tried to stop but it hit him and he flew into the head of the bus."

"Oh so that's why I heard a horn. Look he might be alright. You never know."

"I hate your optomistim but it lightens the mood."

"What hospital is it?"

"Regina General hospital...they flew him there."

"Well we're like 10 KM away from it...."

He turned on the radio and Who do you love was playing and then he lowered the volume.

"Ironic much?"

"We're here go in Amy I'm just gonna go and park this car somewhere."

She nodded and hopped out as Shawn went with her so that she wouldn't freak out. As I was parking the car I just had this feeling that he's dead.

"Alright someone phone Simkin to cancel the tour and then we'll go in."

As I took the keys out of the ignition and got out to go pay for parking. $20 bucks for 6 hours?! It's so pricey depending that its the emergency ward. I ran back to the car after paying and put the slip on the dash and walking in with the guys.

Josh's POV

I just feel peaceful and happy but then I saw my daughter.

"Veronica?"

"Daddy you shouldn't be here..."

I thought about it as I sat up and then it came to me.

"Am I dead?"

"No but close to being dead....dad you have to fight for Mom. I know you missed me but I'm alright now."

Then I saw my sister well one of them.

"He needs to explain why he got hit? Was it an act of suicidal intentions?"

"W-Who are you?"

"Holly one of your sisters that died from your damn disease! Now explain Josh.."

"Where's mom? I need to see her!"

They looked at me like what the fuck?

"What? Don't tell me I have to be dead to see her?"

"Yup now tell me Josh why did you get yourself hurt like that?"

"I was texting Amy my wife and I wasn't paying attention to everything around me and I remember getting hit and....hearing my friends telling me to keep breathing....I wasn't fighting. I want to live but I also want to die."

She sat beside me and patted my back.

"Well you just need to fight and carry on for Amy. Because if you don't come back from this it will change her weather you like it or not."

I just sat there silent and frozen just thinking of Amy....she needs me.

"I-I have to go back!"

Then holly pointed to the stretcher and then my mother showed up.

"Mom?"

"Joshua you shouldn't be here. Go and run live your life to the fullest."

I hugged her before running over to the gurney and laying back down as I could feel my injuries. And then I opened my eyes seeing Amy sitting next to me but I couldn't move.

"Its alright Josh you're alright..."

I just looked at her and around what looks to be the trauma room. I couldn't say anything I could sorta move my feet but I just feel well numb.

"I'll go get Derek alright just stay calm...I love you."

She got up and left the room and I was just left there with my thoughts. So I looked around the room with my eyes and I saw an xray from probably when I was asleep. I saw a break in my right arm and a brain bleed. It doesn't look that bad from my perspective. Then Matt came into the room and I smiled a little bit.

"Hey Josh sooo they're gonna bring you into the OR for a brain bleed and to set your arm."

I nodded as I still couldn't talk.

"Weird you don't have the tube in but you can't talk? Just try something..."

So I tried to say something but I mumbled something that he couldn't hear. As Derek came in.

"Oh he's awake...hey Josh Matt probably explained all that's going to happen."

"And he can't talk like at all by the way. Well good luck Josh."

I nodded as they wheeled me down as they put me to sleep.
