After the blood transfusion I got discharged from the hospital. I drove home with Amy asleep in the passenger seat. When I pulled into the driveway I carried her inside and upstairs to our bedroom tucking her in and I walked to my dog Bennie.
"Hey Bennie I missed you! How's my Bennie doing?"
She just barked for food and I fed her and she ate so fast. I walked outside onto the balcony thinking that the next time I do get cancer I'm not going to fight it anymore. Somedays you get tired of fighting everyday. I walked downstairs to the basement shutting the door not wanting to bother Amy and I set up the mic and grabbing lyrics for your star.
"I can't see your star! Patiently waiting for the darkness to subside. I can't see your star! Fighting away and I'm alone now!"
I finished five songs and I record the piano for your star and then the door opened.
"There you are I thought you were down here."
"Yeah cause all I do is music. Did you have a nice nap?"
"Yeah it was good to not be worried and sleeping in the hospital chair."
I smile kissing her and I feel a little movement. It's the baby hating us kissing.
"She started moving around."
"A while back it gets kinda annoying when your comfortable."
"I bet but I get that with Bennie."
She just laughed at me and she put her hand on her stomach.
"You alright Amy?"
"Yeah I'm alright she won't stop moving."
"Sit down and just well you know relax. Do I calm it down?"
"Talk to it you calm it down better than I do."
I nodded talking about Lindsay the tiny  horse. I just had nothing else to talk about.
"So don't do what your daddy did and you'll be perfect."
"It stopped and really Josh?"
"True fucking story my bank was so pissed at me."
She just laughed and I walked to our room sitting on the bed just thinking about that fucking hall incident. I'm still kinda creeped out by that. Then I got a text saying that I have my own solo label. Wait what?!
