I let myself be drowned by the city lights. The combination of different colors from different lights are perfect, the skyscraper and buildings' figure are adding a beautiful flavor to the overlooking. How can people still manage to focus on their daily task without being stolen by this breathtaking view?

I am here in my room silently sitting in my bed while facing the huge window in front of me. I can't seem to function well, para akong tinanggalan ng kamay at paa para gumalaw at mapag patuloy ang buhay ko.

I felt relieved when I finished throwing up. Gosh, I could never get use to this. Nang makabalik ako sa hinihigaan ko ay biglang tumunog ang tiyan ko. My stomach is growling for hours now at kahit gutom na gutom na ako ay wala pa din akong gana kumain. I don't know where can I get the energy to make me feel want to eat something.

Oh, the place where I can get that energy is only in heaven because naroon ang lakas ko, wala na dito sa lupa. Tears left my eyes again. I tried so hard to wipe it and make it stopped but I can't.

The door opened and then I saw Chloe coming in with a tray on her hands. She smiled at me, I tried to smile at her too but I was too tired to do so. She sat in front of me. Binaba niya ang tray sa maliit na table sa tabi ng kama ko bago punasan ang mga luha sa aking mata at pisnge.

"You have to eat." She said, I shrugged my shoulders.

"I have no appetite, maybe later? I want to sleep." I said while getting the blanket from the bottom of the bed.

"Really? Sleeping is your excuse now?"

I ignored her and she still continues.

"Kailangan mong kumain, Ella! You haven't eaten for days, hindi ka din pumasok sa unang araw ng supposedly post internship natin, You didn't show up in the 2nd day also and that's the reason why you got fired!"

I looked at Chloe who's frustratingly shouting at me right now. Gusto kong sabihin sa kaniya na umalis na siya at iwan muna ako pero hindi ko magawa. It was like something is stopping me from saying that.

"It's been a week, Ella. You need to get up, take a shower, eat then resume to your daily life."

I shook my head.

"It's not that easy, Chloe.." I almost whispered that. My throat had dried after not drinking enough water for a week.

Wala akong ginawa kundi humiga tumunganga at hayaan ang sarili malunod sa mga luha. After hearing that news, all that comes to my mind was my last moments with him. I wanted to remember every detail but I can't.

My memories of him are slowly disappearing in my mind.

"What's not easy? He's been gone for 13 years. Shouldn't you be used to it?"
