"Dude, I thought you left me!" Joshua chuckled then he came closer to Lucas and gave him a friendly hug

"Nah. I can't do that, I already gave you my word."

"Yeah, ya' the best, man."

I gave Chloe my death glare and she just give me her confusing look. Maybe she's confused about why I am so pissed right now. She's wondering why the hell am I getting angry at Lucas.

Hindi niya pa pala alam ang tunay na ugali ni Lucas, hindi ko pa na-ikwento sa kaniya dahil masyado akong abala mag-isip ng solusyon sa mga problema ko. I just sighed. Instead of letting my anger out on Chloe, I should just give it to this playboy and let him handle my rage.

"Why are you looking at me like that? What did I do?" Chloe whispered to me.

"You didn't tell me that his plus one is Lucas Alvarez!"

She put her hands up and shake her head.

"I don't know, I promise. Nagulat din ako gaya mo."

Magsasalita pa sana ako kaso lumapit na sa amin ang dalawang lalake. I can feel the burning stare and alam ko kung kanino galing iyun. Walang iba kundi kay Lucas lamang, I looked at him too and give him my sharp, deathliest glare.

Sana sa pagtingin ko palang sa iyo ay maramdaman mo na agad na ayaw kitang kasama.

"This is my friend Lucas. Lucas, this is Chloe, the one I'm talking about and this is her frienddd.." napahinto si Joshua sa pagpapakilala sa amin dahil hindi niya pa alam ang ngalan ko.

Lucas is stopping himself from smiling. That asshole. Kilala niya naman na kami, so ano pang use ng pagpapakilala sa amin ni Joshua sa kaniya?

"Oh! Sorry, I was too preoccupied by you. Pardon my bad behavior. She's Ella, my best friend and we already knew each other because we're neighbors." Binuking ni Chloe si Lucas and he just let out a giggle

Joshua confusingly looked at his friend and Lucas just tapped his shoulder. Hindi ko tinatanggal sa kaniya ang paningin ko becaus I want to see his every moves, his cheating techniques, his jerkness, his stupidity.

Gusto ko makita lahat para kapag dumating ang panahon na ipapakilala na siya sa akin ni Danica ay I'll have the right to stop her from marrying this guy because I have a solid evidence of his foolishness. His dirty works and all!

"Really? Yow, mate. You should've told me before I did that. It was embarrassing!" Joshua ranted while massaging his nape, lumapit si Chloe sa kaniya.

"I wanted to but you preceded me in speaking."

Liar! You just want him to be humiliated. Tsk. Walang pinipiling tao ang panloloko niya. If he got a chance to fool someone ay he'll do it. I can sense that they're so close to one another from observing how they casually talk to each other.

"It's okay! Introducing me to your friend is natural, babe. All males do that, even us, females. So, don't feel embarrassed, okay?" Chloe comforted her fling.

"Chloe is totally right, Kenjo. It might sound so inappropriate if you don't tell me her name before we start this double date." Lucas added and Joshua just laugh softly

Did he just call him Kenjo not Joshua? Tinginan ko si Chloe at tinaasan siya ng kilay, she looked at me for a bit before throwing her bewildered eyes to Joshua. He gave Chloe his sweet smile before clearing the puzzle on her face.

"Kenjo is my nickname. Uhm, Grandmom took it from the first syllables of my first and second name. Kenneth and Joshua, Kenjo."

Chloe genuinely smiled at him before letting out a softly chuckle.
