My heavy breaths. Ambulance's siren. The clicking of the wheeled stretcher's casters.

The whole world seems to be quiet and the only sound it makes are those.

I thought I have lost the ability to use my eyes to notice everything, when the only one I can see is Lucas lying in the stretcher with a lot of blood coming out from his head.

Iyan lamang ang tanging nakikita at naririnig ko ngayon habang tinatakbo si Lucas patungo sa operating room para isagawa ang isang emergency surgery.

Napakabilis ng mga pangyayari kanina. Hindi ko namalayan na narito na pala kami sa ospital. Reynold didn't catch the suspect. Hindi ko din maintindihan kung paano niya nasaktan si Lucas habang pinapalibutan kami ng marami niyang body guards.

"You have to wait here." The nurse halted me, pinasok na nila si Lucas sa loob at sa bagay sa pagbagsak ng pinto ang pagbagsak ng aking mga luha.

"Miss.." tawag sa akin ni Reynold and I looked at him.

"What happened? Did you searched for that guy?"

Natahimik siya ng ilang segundo. Sumasalim sa kaniyang kilos na bigo silang mahanap ang gumawa nito kay Lucas.

"We tried everything. We check the CCTV footage but we failed to identify him as he is always at the blindside. He knew where the cams are."

I shake my head violently. I swear, kung mahuli ko lang ang gumawa nito ay ako mismo ang mananakit sa kaniya. That fucking obsessed fan!

Nakarinig kaming dalawa ni Reynold na isang babaeng umiiyak at malakas na tunog ng heels. Lumingon si Reynold at ako naman ay nanlaki ang mata. My lips parted when I saw Danica walking towards me, her eyes were full of tears and her whole face is red. Masama ang tingin niya sa akin. I gulped.

"You bitch!"

Isang malakas na sampal ang iginawad niya sa aking mukha. Muli niya sana itong gagawin pero tinulak siya ni Reynold at tinago ako ni Reynold sa kaniyang likod.

I don't know what to do or what to react. This is the first time a friend slapped me. I have been slapped my whole life but it never hurt this much.

"Ang kapal ng mukha mo! What rights do you have to stay in here and cry at your knees?! Ikaw ang nagpahamak sa kaniya! You should be outside, reflecting on what you've done until you die!"

I am speechless. Walang pumapasok sa aking utak, tanging iyak lamang ni Danica at ang mga sinasabi niya. It's really my fault.

"I-I'm sorry.."

I deserve her slap and mean words. What I did was wrong and I need to pay for those. Hindi pa sapat ang sampal at masasakit na salita.

Reynold looked at me, he was shocked and confused. Siguro hindi niya aakalain na ganito ang magiging reaksyon ko, I think he thought I'll fight back, why should I? Tama lamang ang ginawa ni Danica.

"Miss Lopez didn't do anything wrong, Miss Danica. It's us, we failed to guard them properly. So, let me apologize."

Tumawa si Danica at dinuro niya si Reynold.
