Tahimik akong nakaupo sa isa mga stool chair habang ang dalawang kamay ko ay makahawak at nakapatong sa island. I am here in the kitchen watching Lucas prepare dinner for us.

I can't take my eyes off him because I kept thinking of my weird dream. Why did Bryan turn into him? I vividly saw Bryan's face, I remembered his face but I forgot it when I woke up.

Lucas is busy making food. All I can see is his huge and muscular back, He's wearing a white office shirt and its sleeves are folded on his elbow, partnered with black wool trousers to cover his lower body. I gulped when I saw his bulged butt. Really, mas matambok pa ang puwetan niya kaysa sa amin ni Chloe!

"Stop checking me out.." He said, kahit hindi ko nakikita ang mukha niya ay alam kong nakangisi siya ngayon.

Umayos ako sa aking pagkakaupo at iniwas sa kaniya ang aking paningin.

"I-i was not--I did not--Argh, stop being delusional!" I said, humarap siya sa akin at tama nga ako, may bahid ng nakakairitang ngisi ang kaniyang labi.

"Then, stop stuttering." He teased me and I rolled my eyes.

"Ang laki kasi ng pwet mo.." I whispered.

I thought he didn't hear me but I was wrong, tumawa siya habang nilalapag ang plato na may lamang bacon, eggs and fried rice sa harap namin. Rice, fried rice! Where did he get this? Wala kaming biniling bigas kahapon.

"Say that to my mother, I was formed inside her uterus with her DNA kaya sa kaniya ka magreklamo at huwag sa akin."

A memory flashed right before my eyes. This was the first meal that Bryan cooked for me. I couldn't move my hand nor my body because of the nostalgic feeling my body keep receiving, para akong binalik sa nakaraan.

"Don't make fun of me because of just cooking bacon and eggs, I know how to cook other meals but this is the only thing I can make right now. There aren't enough ingredients stored here. We bought a lot yesterday, is it all gone?"

I bit my lip to stop myself from creating a noise as I know I am starting to cry. I move my hand to grab the spoon and fork, I scoop my first bite and when the food touches my tounge, it made me remember how delicious Bryan's food was. Kalasang-kalasa nito ang gawa ni Bryan!

"Eat slowly, Ella." He said and I nodded.

Hindi ako makapagsalita dahil abala ako sa pagkain. He was about to say something but his phone rang suddenly, I watched him grabbed his phone. He answered the call. Ngumunguya akong habang pinapanood kung gaano ka-seryoso ang mukha niya.

"Yes?" Panimula niya.

His aura changed suddenly, from being bright it turned into dark. Nakatayo siya, his left hand is busy keeping the phone beside his ear habang ang kaliwang kamay naman niya ay nakapatong sa island. He gazed at his food.

"I don't want to hear their proposal so drop it." He turned into the cold and viscous Lucas again.

I enthusiastically took another spoonful of the food again. Parang akong batang pasayaw-sayaw sa upuan habanag ngininguya ang masarap na pagakain.

"Because their products doesn't suit our theme. It will only ruin the festival. I want the best nothing more."

Festival? May programa bang gaganapin ang mall niya?
