Dianne's POV

I woke up earlier than usual because I need to clean the house before my parents and Asa comes. I ate my breakfast after cleaning and took a bath. I grab my bag downstairs and mom called me.

"Hi mom."

"Hey, honey. Off to school?"

"Yes. How about you?"

"We just ate breakfast and we are now putting our clothes back at the car."

"Ok, I need to go now mom. I don't want to be late for school."

"Bye sweetie. Be careful ok? Love you."

"Love you too, bye."

I quickly rode my bike and went to school. I hurriedly grab all my books and notebooks in the locker and made my way to my classroom. I run through the hallway that was filled with a lot of students then I bumped into someone.

"Oh my god. I'm so sorry." I didn't bother to look at the person and continued walking.

"Well, well, well. Dianne almost became late." Ana said, exaggerating almost. I put my stuff down and sat on the chair.

"Hey Dianne, do you got some notes from yesterday's Math class?" Reign pokes my left arm.

"Yeah, let me just get it." I scanned through my notebooks and bag but it wasn't there. I know it was with me the whole time.

"Where is it?" Reign looks at me. "I can't find it." I gave her a worried look. "Eh, thanks for trying." She walks away and asks the others.

The teacher came in and I realized Math class will start in 2 hours and without my notebook, I can't write notes. I started to panic.

"Dianne?" the teacher caught my attention. "Oh sorry Mr. Norman." I gave him a smile. "As I was saying..." the teacher continued discussing something.

Math class is in 15 minutes and I still don't know where in the world is my notebook. The teacher stopped discussing when someone knock on the door. He opens it and calls me. I walk to door and saw... Trey?

"Hi Dianne. I j-just wanna give y-your notebook back." He smiled and gave it to me. That smile...

"Thanks. Wait, are you the guy I bumped earlier?" I placed my hand to cover my mouth.

"Uh yeah. It's fine, don't worry. I should go now or I'll be late for my next class." He walks away and waved my goodbye.

"Thanks again." I entered my classroom again and sat on my chair. Oh no. No. I got over Trey, I don't have a crush on him anymore. I said to myself.

"Dianne's blushing." May whispered. I rolled my eyes at her and put my notebook back at the bag.

The way home...

As I was riding my bike back home, I nearly hit Trey while he was crossing the street.

"Oh my gosh. Trey are you alright?" I said standing up and help him.

"Ah hehe... I'm fine again." He stands up.

"You sure?"

"Yeah." He brushes of the dirt from his pants.

"Oh, ok. I'll see you tomorrow I guess." I said, riding back on my bike.

"Bye Dianne." He smiled at me and fix his hair with his fingers. I blushed; I like it when he does that. He looks cute.

Cute?! No, not really. A voice inside my head said.

I arrived at my house and dad is cooking dinner, mom is at the living room with Asa.

"Hey dad." I kissed his cheek. "Hi baby." he said. I ran upstairs and lay on my comfy bed. Then someone knocks on the door. I open it and saw Asa.

"Hey, need anything?" I asked him.

"Your mom needs the iPad charger." He says. "Let me get it, come in if you want to." He enters my room and looks around.

"Did you draw this?" he said, holding the beach drawing I did yesterday. "Uh, yeah." I gave the charger to him. "It's amazing." he compliments. "Thanks." I smile.

He left and I closed door then laid back at my bed.

After dinner...

"So in here, she's wearing her dad's shoes. She was 3 years old there." mom says to Asa while holding the photo album. The photo album?! Oh shoot! I have so may embarrassing pictures there.

I sit beside mom and look at the pictures. "She looks cute wearing those shoes." Asa says. I blushed. He thinks I'm cute.

Mom turns the next page.  It shows a picture of me hugging my favorite teddy bear.

"Aww, sweetie, look at you. You're so happy with your bear." Mom hugs me; me and Asa laughed.

"What are you guys looking at?" Dad stands behind the sofa and looks at my pictures.

"Aww, my sweet little baby." Dad said and gave us a family group hug. Asa smiles at us. "Come here Asa. You're also a part of this family from now on." Dad gave another group hug.

Before bed...

I walk out to the terrace and saw Asa there again.

"Hey." I stand beside him. "Hi." he kept staring at the stars.

"You know Dianne, you're so lucky to have a family like this." I looked surprised at him. "What made you say that?" he looks at me now.

"Since you're my fan, I think you know the story about my family right?" he said.

Yeah, I know the story; his parents are divorced.

"I never had that family group hug for a long time." He said. I placed my hand on his shoulder, trying to comfort him.

"At least you know your family still loves you and supports you every time." He smiles and intertwines his hand to my hand.

I got lost when I stare at his blue eyes. They're really beautiful. Our faces were inches apart.

"I-I uhm... goodnight Asa." I let go of his hand. "Goodnight to you too Dianne." he looks back at the stars.

Gosh, that was awkward. I thought.

I return to my room and started thinking some things. I can't stop thinking about Asa. I like him a lot, but does he like me too? Or is that just me and my imagination.
