Dianne's POV
"Dianne..." someone whispers imy ear as they shake my body slightly. "Dianne... wake up." He whispers again.
I slowly opened my eyes and saw Asa grinning. ASA?! I completely opened my eyes. I sat up and stretched my arms. I looked around and saw that I was in an unfamiliar room. Wait...
Oh, right. We stayed at the Diamond Tower. I'm being forgetful again.
"Well, good afternoon to you." Asa greets me. I smiled at him.
"You should go get ready. Dinner will be in 1 hour and 30 minutes." He informs me; I nod. He goes to his room and locks it.
Wait, dinner? Dinner?! I search for an answer in my head. Dinner! Dinner will be at 6 o' clock. I just had a nap and I already forgot a lot of things. I looked at the clock and it was 4:35 pm. I jolt up from the couch and ran to my room.
I took my towel and had a quick shower. I open my bags to find something perfect to wear at dinner. I finally found it.
It was a blue/yellow/white striped dress and sleeves that reaches my elbows. The dress reaches just right at my knees. I partnered it with my blue doll shoes.
I finished myself off with my favorite perfume. I twirled around the mirror which was at the closet door to look at myself. I winked at myself and opened the door. Oh wait, I forgot my purse which has my phone, money and other stuff.
Asa is already sitting on the couch, doing something on his phone. He turns his head around and sees me. A smile appears on his face. I returned a smile to him and then sat with him on the couch.
"You look beautiful." He said. I blushed and I try to stop a smile but it still showed.
"And you smell great, too." I was internally dead right now, to be honest. I was trying to keep myself cool.
"You look not too bad yourself, Butterfield." I said. He was wearing a sky blue colored long sleeve and black pants.
"Well thank you, Ms. Brookins." I giggled at him as he chuckles.
I looked at the time on my phone; 5:57 pm. My parents will knock anytime soon. After a few more minutes, someone knocks.
"I'll get it." Asa stands up and opens the door, revealing my parents.
"Are you ready guys?" Mom asks. We nod.
I grabbed the key card on the table and went outside. I locked the door and we walked to the elevator. The same music was playing then *ding* the doors slide open. We walked through a big hallway then came up with a blurry glass door. The doorman opens it and we went in.
The place was amazing. It has big glass windows in every side, flowers on each table and a small candle too. The lights were slightly dimmed, making a calm feeling inside. At least half of the place was filled with people, basically people who are dating.
We sat on our table and scanned through our menus. We got ourselves some steak with roasted potatoes on the side and soda for the drinks. We ate our food peacefully while we talk about the place.
Finally, my favorite part of dinner came in, the dessert. Mom and dad got themselves a banana split, Asa picked the chocolate mousse with vanilla ice cream and I got my strawberry cheesecake and a crepe. YUM!
It was already 8 in the evening when we went back to our rooms. I was so full, I need to relax a bit. I went to the balcony outside.
There, I saw the lights of the nearby buildings, the cars coming from each directions and people walking on the streets. I would love to paint that view.
A hand tries to snake around my waist, making me jump. It was Asa who did that. He chuckled at me while I playfully slap his arm.
"For a second, I thought I had a moment." I said.
He stood beside me and place his elbows on the barrier. I laid my head on his right shoulder as we stare on the view in front of us.
He clears his throat and I remove my head on his shoulder. Asa looks at me while he rubs his palms.
"Sorry if I disturbed you a while ago..." He starts. "But I think this is the right time to tell you." My heartbeat starts to become faster from what he said.
"Dianne... I had known a lot of girls my age but you were different from them. You had this thing that makes me lose my mind and then the butterflies start to erupt. I never felt something like that but because of you, I had this feelings for you."
I kept quiet the whole time he was speaking. He took a step closer to me making me freeze on my spot. I don't know what the heck I should do. Then he holds both of my hands.
"Dianne Beatrice Brookins, I had fallen in love with you."
He leans in and... our lips meet.
I didn't know what I should do for a second but I closed my eyes and returned the kiss to him. His lips were plump and warm. It would be nice if I could kiss them all day... Just joking. Maybe.
Asa puts his right hand on my jaw and the other on my waist. I placed both of my arms on his chest while the kiss continues.
Then I placed my hands around his neck, making the kiss deepen. I felt him smile and continued to kiss my lips.
After a solid 15 second kiss, we broke it and gaze at each others eyes. We smiled. He gave a peck on the lips making me giggle. He sighs and places his forehead to mine.
"I also had fallen in love you, Asa Maxwell Thornton Farr Butterfield."
