He's Here [Asa Butterfield fan fic]

Chapter 3

Asa's POV

       Wow. I'm seriously bored this time. I'm lying on my bed, looking at the same ceiling for half an hour now. I couldn't think of anything I wanted to do, I guess I'm just tired of being tired.

       I went downstairs to find something to eat. I found my mom on the kitchen table. I grab some food and about to take it to my bedroom.

       "Asa,"

       "Yeah mom?" I asked her.

       "Don't litter on your bed while you eat. I just cleaned it this week." She said.

       "I promise." I mark an X on my chest where my heart was.

       "Don't make promises you can't keep Asa." I chuckled at what she said and then made my way to my room again.

       I placed the food on my bed. "What should I eat first?" I questioned myself. I picked the Walkers cheese and onion cause its just so damn great. While I ate the rest of the snacks, I scrolled through my news feed.

       Nothing new at all just my friend's pictures at their vacation on different places. Then I thought to myself, if I'm bored here at my place, not that I mean my friends and family is boring but I want to try experience new things, meet other people, and have new fun memories as well.

       Yeah, I should go and do it. It might be fun but I need the permission of my parents as well. If they will approve then I will pack my stuff and book a flight to Dallas. But if they denied, then I'll just stay here and hang out with some of my friends maybe.

        I ran downstairs to see if my parents were there. I'm nervous, how will I say to them I want to visit another country for 3 months?

       "Uhmm... mom, dad, I need to talk to you about something." I said to them while I scratched the back of my neck.

       "Sure, son. Take a sit." I sat on the chair in front of them and began the talking. I said to them that I wanted to visit other places and maybe have a vacation there, alone.

       They looked at each other and nodded. Dad said "Ok. We are permitting you to go on vacation to another country. Be careful there always and video chat us at least once a week. Ok?"

       "Really? Thank you so much. I love you guys." I hugged them both and went to my room and later I'll book a flight to Dallas.

Skip one week \\ At the airport

       "I'll miss you honey." Mom and dad hugged me.

       "I'll miss you bro. See you in 3 months." I gave my brother, Morgan, a hug too.

       "And I'll miss you both too," I said. Pointing at my 2 younger sisters, Loxie and Marlie.

       "I love you Asa." They both said.

       "I love you, too." I gave them both a hug.

       "Tell me if you found a girl there, ok bud?" dad nudged my elbow. "Ok dad." I said then laughed.

       I waved goodbye to them and then headed to my plane. I sat on my seat and listen to music. Oh, this is gonna be a very long plane ride.

A couple of hours later

       "We are now landing Dallas." I woke up from my nap, sat up straight and then (insert sound of a landing airplane) which means we just landed. I grabbed my suitcase and went to the arrivals section.

       Mom said that some "agents" will be there to wait for me and bring me to the place where I will stay for 3 months. I then saw this man holding a piece of cardboard with my name written in it.

       "Hey, I'm Asa." I said to him.

       "Ah, Mr. Butterfield, please follow me." I followed him until we reached this black van and we went inside.

       "Hello Mr. Butterfield, I'm Ruby." We shook hands. "You arrived early sir." I showed a smile and nodded.

After 1 hour of the ride

       I looked outside the car's window and I saw this 2 story peach colored house. The agents were already talking to the family outside, then a girl that seems to be just as the same age as me walked outside the house. She has brown straight hair and dark brown eyes, well she's pretty is all I can say.

       "Mr. Butterfield," the car door suddenly opened.

       "Woah!" I jumped out of my sit.

       "Sorry to startle you sir, but it's time for you to meet the family you are staying with."

       "Oh ok." I came out of the car and walked around it.

       The family looked at me with a smile on their faces except the girl who seems to be so much surprised. I walked closer to them. I was now in front of them.

      "Hello, my name is Tom Brookins." He has black hair with strands of grey and quite taller than me.

      "I'm Asa, Asa Butterfield." We shook hands.

      "This is my wife, Janet." He pointed at the woman next to him. She has dark brown hair and brown eyes as well. "Nice to meet you Asa." I smiled.

       "Dianne, come on here darling. Introduce yourself to him." I looked at the girl, she was looking down, she might be nervous or just starstrucked. She started to lift her head up and walked towards me.
