Asa's POV

I woke up from the sun shining on my eyes. I toss to the other side but I can't sleep anymore. And instead of going out of bed, I laid for a few more minutes to think.

So today is Saturday; Dianne has no classes and maybe I could hang out with her today. Except maybe she won't because she needs to study for her exams. But there is still a chance.

I quickly got out of bed when I remembered about Dianne. There's still a chance we could go out today. I grabbed my towel then went to the bathroom.

I was about to touch the handle when the door swings open; Dianne on the other side, a towel wrapped around her body.

Dianne's POV

I went upstairs to get a shower after eating my breakfast. I picked my clothes and grabbed my towel then went to the bathroom.

I opened the door and Asa was standing there, we stared each for a second and he covers his eyes. "Uh, I -I'm sorry." He said still covering his eyes with his hand. I quickly walked to my room and slam the door shut.

Asa's POV

As I heard a door slam, I removed my hand on my eyes then looked around. I stand in front of the bathroom like an idiot trying to process what the in the world  just happened.

After shower
After putting on my clothes, I went to the kitchen to get some breakfast. I saw Dianne, sitting on the floor, reading a book on a small table. She saw me and smiled, I smiled too.

I sat next to her while I ate my breakfast. This might be a good time to ask her out. Well here it goes...

"Ah Dianne?" I started.

"Yeah?" she's still reading the book.

"I was just wondering if we could go out later, if you want to." She didn't said something. "But... i-if you're busy. We could do that some oth-"

"Sure Asa. We could go out later." she said with a smile. "Ok. Around 3 later?" asked. "Ok." she nod and I continued eating my breakfast. We just sat there in silence but not awkward. When I finished, I put the plate on the sink then drank orange juice.

Asa's POV

"Are you ready Dianne?" I asked as I walked down the stairs. "Yeah, let me just grab my bag." She reaches at her sling bag hanging on a chair then puts it on her right shoulder.

"Are we gonna use the bikes or just walk?" She asked.

"Let's just walk." She nods.

"Mom! Dad! Asa and I are going for a walk!" she called. "Be back before dinner."  Janet said. [It's Dianne's mom if you don't remember.]

We walked outside, side by side. While walking, she was looking straight on the street. I looked down at her hand; I want to hold her hand. I was trying to make the move when...

"We're gonna cross the street now." She said. I nod. We cross the street carefully then continued walking to the unknown destination.

I looked down at her hand again and this time, I hold it. We intertwined our fingers and I saw that she blushed. She's so cute when blushes. A few minutes later, we went to a pizza house.

We walked to the counter and ordered our food. We got ourselves a ham and cheese pizza and iced tea. We talked about different things; my work, her school, childhood memories. We finished eating and she paid for it because this place has a different currency from where I am from.
