How will you spend the last day with him?
Dianne's POV
I need to do something. I need to make this day memorable for me and Asa.
That is all I thought about ever since I woke up this morning. Yesterday, we didn't even talked to each other; I feel guilty about it. That's why, this day should be worth it.
Last night, I cried on my pillow, 30 minutes straight and used my blanket to wipe my tears after. Guiltiness and loneliness filling my body.

I brush off the thoughts and placed my empty bowl of cereal on the sink. I looked at the clock; it showed 8:15 am. I woke up early to plan something for Asa. He was still asleep which is a good thing but the bad news is anytime he could wake up and I'm still not ready.
I walked up the stairs, skipping 2 steps at a time to go faster. I reached my room and sat on my desk to make a plan. "Hmm." I played the pencil between my fingers. "How about..." I start to write on the paper on the desk.
After fifteen minutes, I finished it. I ran down the stairs, good thing I didn't trip or fall. And there goes the last step, I missed it. "Whoa." I said, almost falling.
"Are you ok, Dianne?" Mom asks, walking pass me. "Yeah, clumsy again." I smiled. I went to the kitchen and grab the utensils.
Plan #1 : Make breakfast for Asa.
I cracked 2 eggs with a fork and poured it into a bowl, scrambled it and poured to the pan with oil. Before it cooked, I added parsley on top. Next, bacon and cheese sandwich. I cooked 4 strips of bacon, cut 2 slices of cheese, then buttered the 2 pieces bread. I placed it on a grill and wait for it to cook. While it cooks, I poured orange juice on a glass and set it aside.
The food is done cooking so I placed it on a plate. "Time check, 9:10." Asa's gonna go down anytime. I sat on the counter and tap my fingers on the edge. I can't wait.
Few minutes later, I heard creaking on the stairs. I put my phone aside and hold the plate and glass of juice.
Asa peeked in and saw me holding the plates. He just stood there, didn't say anything.
"Good morning Asa." I walked pass through him. "Made you breakfast." I placed the food on the table and he sat on the chair.
"Oh, uh, thanks, Dianne." He smiles. "No problem." I smiled at him.
1st plan: A Success.
I looked into the paper of my plans on the counter, beside my phone. Hmm...
Plan#2: Have a great bonding time.
"What kind of bonding should it be?" I asked myself.
An idea pops into my brain. I peeked on Asa, still eating. "Asa, are you gonna do something today?" I asked.
He swallows his food before answering me. "I think there's none. Why?" "Just asking." I said.
After he ate, I brought his plate and glass on the sink.
