Well Camilla's dead and I bet you guys didn't see that coming. I had actually been waiting for the perfect moment to kill her off. Camilla was hateful but she was just a jealous woman and someone cruel and evil killed her. How sad. Sorry to those who choose her but someone had to be killed to get our killer's point across.

He stared at her beautiful face. She looked like an angel. When Eric got the call that he had an emergency at his house he instantly changed into his wolf form and rushed there. The scene he came upon was not one he expected. His entire pack surrounded his house, again! What could have possibly happen this time, he wondered.
When he made it to his front porch he saw the pack Doctor wheeling out a body. When he saw Eric he quickly covered the body with a sheet. Eric could feel his heart break and rage take over. His mate was dead! Who killed her? Why? Eric knew that whoever did this will die. There would be no trial, only instant death. He planned to do to them whatever they had done to her. At the time he was so enraged he didn't even remember that he could feel his mate through their bond if he wanted too.
As he got closer and closer to the body he was stopped by his father. "Father, do not stop me. I want to see what was done to her," he said with barely contained rage. He didn't want to take anger out on anyone innocent.
"I am aware of that but isn't there something else you need to attend too?" his father questioned.
"Something else!" he raged.
"Yes, your poor mate needs you," his father said.
It took a moment but the shock had finally taken over him, followed by relief. His mate was still alive! "Giselle is still alive?"
His father smiled, "She is indeed still alive."
Eric smiled then froze. If his mate was still alive then who was under the sheet and why were they in his house. He hoped whoever killed this person didn't hurt Giselle. "Where is she?" he asked.
"We moved her to the bedroom."
"You moved her to the bedroom?" Eric questioned.
His father walked over to him and placed his hand on Eric's shoulder," She was unconscious when we arrived on scene and hasn't woke up get.
Upon hearing the word unconscious, Eric sprinted into the house to his mate. His werewolf hearing allowed him to hear the rest of his father's words and also the soft, even breathing of Giselle. When he made it into the front room he could see blood everywhere. He could feel himself paling at the thought of all that blood. He silently hoped that none of it was Giselle's.
When he arrived at the room he saw Giselle laying on the bed and Josie sitting on a chair next to the bed. Other than the fact she was still unconscious, she looked frail but he was relieved to see that she was uninjured. He gently played with her hair and kissed her forehead and she smiled, even in her sleep she knows the connected of her mate. He wanted her to stay asleep for a little while longer, after the traumatic night she had it was a well deserved rest.
He had not forgotten about Josie. Eric knew she was his pack mate but at the moment his wolf was viewing everyone and everything as a threat. Ever since he got the call about the incident his alpha instincts have been roaring inside him. His wolf was practically begging him to let it in control but of course that wouldn't happen. He was an Alpha they were born to control and not be controlled. His instincts was telling him to protect his mate.
"Alpha..." a soft voice said from behind him.
He didn't turn to her but he did respond, "Yes, Josie?"
"I just wanted to say I was sorry."
He was confused. "What exactly are you sorry for?"
"Giselle and I spent the day together, she offered to let me spend the night here since I locked myself out of my house but I declined. I had a friend who always keeps a spare key for me in case this happens. I was waiting on my friend when I heard her scream. When I arrived I seen what happened. If I hadn't declined then she wouldn't have been here to face this alone," Josie said crying.
He sighed. "You are not at fault whoever did this is." Eric could see how tired Josie was, "Did your friend give you your key yet?"
She nodded, "Yes she did."
"Good, now go home and get some rest," he said.
"I will but first I have to answer some questions your dad has about Camilla."
"Camilla? What about her?" he questioned.
Josie seem confused, "You don't know?"
"Know what?"
"Camilla's dead. The body they found in the front room is hers."
Eric was shocked, "That's Camilla down there! Sure, she was a bit of a handful but she wasn't bad enough to get killed over it."
Josie shrugged, "I never like her but I can honestly say was that the girl had a knack of pissing the wrong people off."
"Alright, I will get more details about this later and until you are asked to answer any questions go to the guest room and sleep for a bit."
"OK, thank you," she said as she quietly left the room.
Eric locked the door, undressed, and joined his mate in bed. He had a lot of things to think about. He couldn't believe Camilla was dead. He was glad it wasn't Giselle but he was secretly hoping it wasn't someone he knew. Relaxing, he wrapped his arms around his mate, pulled her close and inhaled her sweet scent. The smell lured him into a deep and dreamless sleep.
