The last couple of days had passed without any incident. Eric taught Giselle the ways of his people so that she could go through with the marriage ceremony. He was amazed at how quickly she adapted to being in his pack. He didn't understand her hatred of being in a pack so he decided not comment about how quickly she adapted, he had a feeling she wouldn't like it very much.

The Mating Ceremony was to take place later that night since there was going to a full moon. Eric's father loved the fact that there was going to  be a full moon. He believed it was the moon goddess Selene's blessing for their union. As a believers in the moon goddess his people knew better than to question an event such as this one, in case the goddess Selene decided her people were taking her for granted. They were werewolves so they feared that without the moon goddess's blessing they would lose their ability to shift, it wasn't a very pleasant feeling.

"Eric," Giselle's soft voice reached his ears.

"Yeah?"

"I heard a female in your pack, I believe Josie was her name, that other packs will be in attendance for the Mating Ceremony."

Eric could hear the worry in her voice but couldn't figure out why. "Yeah there will be three other packs there. We have an alliance with them since we are a powerful pack but if you are worried about how many people will be there than don't. My father has only allowed the alphas, their mates, betas, body guards, and and any other ten people they would like to bring to come."

"I'm not worried about the amount of people coming I just want to know what are the names of the packs?"

"The Red Moon pack, the Midnight pack, and the Blood Drinker pack."

Giselle paled and Eric could see it, "Really.."

"Yeah my father decided to form an alliance with three other powerful packs rather than all of them being at war with each other. Are you alright?" he had to ask her.

Giselle swallowed before nodding once and saying, "Yea I'm fine."

Eric could see that she wasn't but he knew she was not going to tell him until she felt like it. "Alright, then lets go to where the Mating Ceremony is going to take place. It's almost time for it to start."

"Yeah let's go." Giselle was reluctant but she knew she had to do it.

Giselle had to admit that whoever did the decorations knew exactly what they were doing. The lights were brighter enough that they weren't blinding anyone or giving off too much heat. The were hung high in the trees and along the tables in loopy patterns that gave it a fun setting. The colors were vibriant shades of purples and whites. Even the flowers was of the same shades as the colors. She had never seen white roses before but she had heard of them. Words did not do them justice.

There was an alter facing in front of all the tables and a wide circle outlined in flowers. She figured the circle of flowers is where her and Eric were going to be and the alter is where his father was going to be standing when he conducted the ceremony. She could see the other packs as they start to find their seats, she knew they were unable to see her since she was still standing in the woods waiting to be announced.

"Don't be nervous," Josie said as she came up behind her.

"I'm not and where is Eric?" She hadn't see him since they arrived.

"Our Head Alpha is getting ready to welcome the packs and since Eric is his heir he has to standing there with him."

"Oh"

"It's a custom among many packs so that other Head Alphas would know who they are going to do future business with."

"I see so when.." Before Giselle could finish a voice stopped her.

"Welcome Alphas and other personels from the Red Moon, Midnight, and Blood Drinkers pack. I thank you all for coming on this glorious celebration of my son's marrige to his new mate."

"We thank you for inviting us." The packs said jin unison.

''I present to you my son Eric," Eric began walking to the circle, "and his new mate Giselle."

Giselle stepped out from the woods as Josie led her to the circle where Eric was. She could feel the eyes of all the packs on her. She went to stand next to Eric on her place in the circle.

Eric's father continued with the cermony, "Together with pride of our people behind their backs will these two say the Words of Promise."

Giselle turned to Eric and said, "Cum Corde meo et anima, Obligo me ad vos." (With my heart and soul, I bind myself to you.)

Eric turned to Giselle and said, "Amo te denfendere policeor sicut animas nostras aeternum merge invicem" (I promise to protect you and love you as our souls forever merge with each other.)

(A/N I used Google translate to do english to latin and this is what they gave me)

Both Eric and Giselle bent forward and bit each other on the place where their neck and shoulder met.

Both in unison said, "Cum hoc morsu sumus in aeternum bonded" (With this bite we are forever bonded). They watched as the tatto formed of their skin.

The tatoo was beautiful, it looked like a black and silver woof howling at a siver moon.

"As a custom for a newly mated couple our Alphas have brought them gifts"

Giselle watched as a young couple, probably in the early twenties come up to them, "Hello my name Dylan and this is my mate Amanda and were are the leaders of the Midnight pack. We have brought you the gift of a necklace for Giselle and a watch for Eric.

"Thank you and we accept with graditude"

Next was another young couple, "Hello my name Mark and this is my mate Lara and were from the Red Moon pack. We have brought you the gift of a all expense paid vacation to anywhere you want.

"Thank you and we accept with graditude."

Last was someone Giselle wished she would never see again in her life, "Hello we are the leaders of the Blood Drinkers pack, my name is Michael and this my mate Amelia. We bring a gift of golden cuff links for Eric and a diamond braclet for Giselle."

"Thank you and we accept with graditude."

"I'm glad I came to this occasion."

Eric's father came up to them, "Why is that Michael?"

"It's not everyday a man see's his daughter again."
