The house was beautiful and Giselle couldn't help but admit it. She expected him to have a mansion  because he seemed like that type of guy. The type that always dressed fancy and talked as if he was better than anyone around his no matter where he was. The house looked like a normal house. It was tall enough that it probably only had two floors or maybe the ceiling was that high. But she doubted that one was true. The colors were typical white and some gold was added to outline the house.

"If I had known I was going to live with you I would have added some things for you." Eric's voice shocked her out of her thought.

"No it's fine neither of us expected this when we woke up this morning. Besides why would you agree to marry me if you hated me. After all you did try to kill me." She reminded him.

"I'm aware of what I tried to do to you but sadly when I informed my father of the fact you could match my strength and managed to get away from me my father to change his mind." Eric's eyes narrowed, "If you are in fact the daughter of an Alpha how is it that you are a rouge?"

"None of your business," she snapped.

"A touchy subject I see," He smirked, "Come on you can tell me."

"I will tell you what happen if you tell me who Damein is and what did he did to have your pack pissed off at him."

"That's none of your business since you are not yet part of the pack," He snapped back her.

She smirked as she repeated his words back to him, "A touchy subject I see."

"You are one annoying woman."

"I see we are in agreement about something since I find you to be very much the same."

Eric sighed, "I am not going to argue with you since we barely have time to prepare you for the Mating Ceremony."

"How long do I have to prepare?"

"Knowing my father he probably expects us to get married within a couple of days"

"A couple of days!" she yelled. Damn it! That's not even enough time to escape from this pack. I maybe fast but it's impossible to learn all the blind spots in the pack's defensive. "Why is the time so short?"

"My father wants to make sure you won't have time escape from here."

"Your father's clever."

"In order to be the Head Alpha you have to be."

"So what exactly am I supposed to do in order to prepare for the mating ceremony?"

"It's simple really, you just have to learn the customs and the Words of Promise."

"The Words of Promise?"

"They are words that seal the bond between two newly formed mates. They are the most important part of the ritual, without them the marriage would not be recognized in the eyes of my people."

"How do you if a bonded couple has said the words to each other?"

"The words imprints a tatoo on both the male and the female."

Giselle was amazed and how beautiful their ceremony was. Her father had never did anything like that  with her pack. He simply made the couple sign a document he written up.

"Let me guess what happens next, After the couple is married the woman is forced into not having a life of her own," she sneered with contempt and disgust.

Eric was shocked at the hate in her voice. "Of course not. We may be part animal but that doesn't make us one. My father may be the Head Alpha but he would force a woman to do something she doesn't want to do."

Giselle narrowed her eyes, "He's forcing me to marry you."

"That was the lesser of two evils, the other choice was your death."

"He could have let me go!"

"The pack would not have let such a thing to happen. Rouges are to be killed on sight and that is final. The only reason you have a choice was because you were female and powerful enough to take me on so be grateful that your alive and stop complaining like a spoiled child."

Giselle could feel her cheeks turn red in embrassment, "I'm not complaining I am just trying to understand how your pack works."

"You will over time."
