"BADTRIP!" sigaw ni Den tsaka sinipa yung buhangin, "ayoko naman kasing sumama dito, tas they'll be mad pag ayaw kong lumabas, labo!" sigaw nya ulit tsaka sinipa ulit yung buhangin, sakto namang humangin ng malakas kaya napuwing siya, pati na rin yung nasa likod niya, "ouch," Den said habang kinukusot yung mata niya.
"Don't, maiirritate lang lalo yung mata mo," napatingin si Den sa nagsalita but medyo blurred pa yung paningin niya.
"Damn! Ba't ayaw matanggal!" sigaw ni Den.
"Sabi naman kasi sayo," narinig niya ulit na sabi sa kanya.
"HUY!" she shouted when the stranger held her shoulder, making her to stand still.
"Wag kang malikot," sabi nito sa kanya.
"I don't even know you?!" mataray na sabi ni Den.
"Keep still," the stranger said.
"Fuck, what are you doing!?" Den asked when the stranger held her face.
"Ang kulit mo, sabing wag malikot," sabi nito sa kanya, tas hinipan nito yung mata niya na napuwing. Unti-unting luminaw yung paningin ni Den and finally, nakita na niya yung kausap niya. The stranger's eyes caught her attention. It's light green, maybe from contact lens. Napatingin rin siya sa ilong nito, it's so pointed, down to the stranger's lips, "okay ka lang?"
"H-ha?" Den asked, tsaka lumayo sa kausap niya, "yup," awkward niyang sabi, "shit, sana hindi niya ko nahuli na nakatitig sa kanya" Den said to herself while looking at the stranger in front of her, napansin niyang mas matangkad ito sa kanya, they have the same skin complexion, and.... that boy cut really looks good on her, "fuck, I'm staring again," Den realized, "thank you pala."
"Sure, no problem," sabi nito sa kanya, "you're wearing contacts, don't do that pag nasa beach ka, there are times na mapupuwing ka talaga."
"But you are, too?" Den asked. Natawa naman yung kausap niya.
"Nice, you're an observer, huh? But these are not contacts, though," sagot nito.
"That's real?!" Den, obviously amazed, asked. The stranger nodded.
"Damn, feeling ko crush na kita," Den said.
"Hahahahahahahaha, you're funny."
"H-huh? Wait.... did I say that out loud?!" Den asked, the stranger nodded, "SHIT!" Den cussed that made her laugh even more, "oh my gosh, I'm sorry!"
"No, it's okay," the stranger said, smiling at Den.
Someone shouted and the stranger looked over when she heard her name, it's her bestfriend. She looked back at Den.
"Oh, I have to go... See you around."
"S-sure," Den replied, the stranger smiled at her tsaka tumakbo papunta sa isang babae, "I really hope we can meet again," Den thought as she smiles.
"May nabiktima ka na naman ba?"
"Wow naman, Ly, yan agad talaga sasabihin mo?" Mika asked her best friend nang makalapit na siya.
"Sino yun?" Ly asked, looking at the girl sa di kalayuan.
"Some stranger who needed help," Mika said.
"Ay sus, da moves mo Reyes."
"Whatever, Valdez," Mika replied.
"Anyway! Guess what!!" Ly excitedly said.
