“Baby!” Den delightfully squealed when the door of their flat opened, revealing Alyssa on her training outfit.
Ly smiled and put down her gym bag after she closed the door, “what mess is this, Den?!” She asked when she saw a lot of garlands and Christmas balls all over the floor and an undesigned Christmas tree.
“I’m designing for Christmas,” Den answered tsaka lumapit kay Ly to give the latter a kiss, “it’s kinda hard though, I was never born for this kind of things,” Den said with a pout.
“Sabihin mo hindi mo lang abot,” Ly teased.
“Duh,” Den just snorted, “have you eaten?”
“Yup, let me help you with this, what can I do?” Ly said nang makalapit sila pareho sa Christmas tree.
“I don’t know din, babe, maybe just put all these stuff altogether.”
Ly laughed, “and pray na hindi magmukhang ewan ‘tong Christmas tree natin?”
Den chuckled, “yes. You silly.”
They quietly put all the designs though, from garlands, to Christmas balls and stars, Christmas lights, and lastly, the star.
“Gusto mo ako na lang, abot mo ba?” Pang-iinis ni Ly.
“Hey! Stop teasing me about my height, kainis ka,” Den frowned.
Ly hugged her, “joke lang. Go put it.”
“Help me, then.”
“See,” Ly lifted Den up a little lang naman for Den to put the star above their Christmas tree.
“There! Nice!” Den said while looking at the Christmas tree, “not bad.”
Ly nodded, “what do you want for Christmas, babe?”
“Anything not requiring to use energy.”
Ly rolled her eyes, “you mean to just sleep?”
“I love that you know me so well,” Den answered and gave Ly a quick kiss.
“Come on, Christmas yun, matutulog ka lang talaga?”
“Yeah? Joke. Wala pa kong naiisip na gawin eh, ikaw ba?”
“Wala pa rin,” Ly said, “you wanna come kila Ella?”
“Sounds good! Let’s ask her na lang if we can. I’ll just take a shower, babe.”
“Sama ako!”
“Nope! Hindi lang shower magagawa natin if you come with me.”
Ly laughed, “yan talaga tingin mo sa’kin?”
“I know you, Ly, your hands will never behave, so stay there,” Den said then she stick her tongue out, leaving Alyssa laughing.
Ly, on the other hand, decided to change into her pajamas since it’s time for sleep. She looked at the date and it’s just 5 days before Christmas. She prepared her gift for Den long time ago, precisely last March, yup, that early. And she’s excited at what Den will react.
“I hope she’ll like it,” she murmured. The door opened, revealing Den in her pjs too, her hair almost dry because of the blower she used while she’s inside the CR, “you smell good, lika dito,” Ly said, tapping the space beside her. Den jumped though, launching herselt at her girlfriend, Ly whined but she was able to fit Den between her arms.
“Comfy!!!!” Den said, snuggling her head on Alyssa’s neck, Ly hugged her.
“You should always use that shampoo, gusto mo 1 year supply ng ganyang shampoo na lang regalo ko sayo for Christmas?”
