It's late and Alyssa can't fall asleep. Kanina pa siya paikot-ikot sa kama niya, she tried every freaking positions just to feel sleepy pero alas dos na ng umaga at gising pa siya. Sakto pang she felt hungry. Annoyed, she stood up, gets her car keys at bumaba sa parking.
She started her car engine, thinking that she'll just drive around at maghanap ng pwedeng kainan and maybe from there, maybe she can finally sleep when she gets home.
But 1 hour later, she found herself outside of Den's unit in Pasig.
"Well shit," Ly hissed when she realized what she did, minsan talaga impulsive si Alyssa, and all those sometimes, Den's always included. She was about to go when the door opened, revealing Den in her pajamas, the one Alyssa gave her on her 18th birthday.
"Ly?" nagtatakang tanong ni Den.
Ly shyly smiled, she looked at Den at mukhang hindi pa naman siya natutulog, "Den, hi. Sorry, did I wake you up?"
"No, my food delivery just came minutes ago before you, bakit ka nandito at this hour?" Den asked as she drag Ly inside the unit.
"I was hungry," Ly answered and she heard Den laugh.
"At talagang dito ka pumunta? All the way from Rizal? Na-sense mo rin bang nagpadeliver ako?" Natatawang tanong ni Den.
"Honestly, hindi ko rin alam why I ended up here, Den. But good timing naman pala," Ly joked.
Den shook her head while smiling, "buti na lang pala I ordered enough for two persons. I'm famished, kain na tayo," Den said.
"I'll pay na lang what I'll eat," Ly offered.
"Asa, kumain ka na lang dyan," Den said.
Ly nodded and sat beside Den while eating burger, "why are you eating just now?"
"I fell asleep kanina after ko mag-shower, kaya nagising akong gutom," Den answered, "sobrang dami pa naming pine-prepare ni LA."
"I see," Ly answered, "do you need any help ba? Baka may matulong ako."
Den smiled, "you already helped us in my wedding gown Ly, with a huge discount, that's more than enough."
"Sus, you're my bestfriend, of course I want to see you look so gorgeous on your wedding day, 'no."
"I know and I'm thankful kasi ang supportive mo, niyo nila Ella. My gosh, I didn't know this would be stressful ng sobra. Gusto ko lang naman maging Revilla, ah?" Den said and laughed.
Ly laughed as well, "but it will be worth it at the end, Den. Tsaka kasi wag ka masyadong perfectionist!"
"Can't help it, Ly, it's in my blood," Den said.
Ly laughed, "yes, I very well know."
They just talked about random things and nag-catch up na rin until the sun has risen. Pinilit ni Den na matulog na muna si Ly sa unit niya since Ly looked like she's about to fall anytime dahil sa antok.
Yep, she finally felt sleepy. And she fell asleep beside Den.
Around 12 when Ly woke up, the right side of the bed empty. She looked for her phone and received a text from Den around 10AM.
Dennise: Ly, hi! Hindi na kita ginising but I already went out, may final touches kami sa suit ni LA and also, sa reception hall. Just give the spare card sa recep sa baba okay? I also cooked breakfast, eat before you leave, tsaka may unused clothes ako dyan, which nilagay ko na sa bed, I know you hate not taking a bath when you wake up.
