"Hala nakatulog na," Den whispered when she saw Ly na tulog na, "kulit mo kasi eh, sabi sayo wag mo na ko hintayin," Den smiled as she look at Ly na nakatulog na sa tapat ng laptop nito. They were talking kasi sa Skype and nagpaalam lang si Den to do her night rituals, then ayan pagbalik nya, Ly fell asleep, "goodnight babe, I love you," Den said then kissed the screen. Humiga na rin siya, she didn't end the video call and just let herself drift off to sleep while looking at Ly.
3AM na nang maalimpungatan si Ly and napatingin agad sya sa laptop nya.
"Ugh!" She hissed when she saw the time, "sorry babe, natulugan na naman kita," she said while looking at Den na natutulog, "goodnight, I love you."
The morning later, Ly kept on saying sorry kasi nga natulugan nya si Den and Den kept on saying na okay lang.
"Ang kulit mo Alyssa! Okay nga lang!" Annoyed na sabi ni Den.
"Oh tignan mo, galit ka na eh!"
"Sinong di magagalit eh paulit-ulit ka dyan? Okay nga lang kasi po, I understand," this time mahinahon nang sabi ni Den, "bakit ka umiiyak babe?!" Alarmed na tanong ni Den nang makita niyang nagtago na si Ly sa braso nito tsaka umiyak, "di nga ako galiiiiiit."
"I...I...miss...you," Ly said in-between her sobs. Den bit her lower lip to stop her tears.
"Babe, come on, stop crying na," Den softly said, "I miss you, too, I fucking do with all my heart."
"I want to go home na," Ly said while scratching her eyes.
"But you can't," Den said that made Ly frown, "but you'll be home naman sa December di ba? That's just a month away, konting tiis na lang," Den tried to cheer Ly up by giving the latter a bright smile.
Ly sighed, "so bakit hindi pwedeng mag-teleport?" She asked.
"Silly, pag nagkateleport powers ang tao, para saan pa ang mode of transpo? Maraming mawawalan ng trabaho."
Ly pouted, "dapat pwede yon sa ganto, yung malayo yung sa mahal nila."
"Ang cute mo," Den said while laughing.
"Ang ganda mo," Ly seriously said that stopped Den from laughing and made her blush.
"Ang spontaneous mo."
"Nagsasabi lang ng totoo," Ly said with a smile, "okay, one month na lang then I'll be home, I just need to be patient?"
"Uh huh," Den answered.
Ly chuckled, "sa bagay. I've waited to be with you for 3 years, ano ba yung 1 month? And if the time comes I need to wait again to be with you, I'll patiently wait kasi nothing beats home."
"I fucking hate you!" Den said, tears formed in her eyes, "I love you so much!"
"Oh, God knows I love you second to Him, babe," Ly said.
Since nasa Taiwan si Ly for her new team Attackline, LDR na sila ni Den for almost a month now. Hindi na rin naman bago na malayo sila sa isa't-isa kasi last year din naman wala rin si Ly kasi nasa Thailand siya. But of course, to be separated with the one you love is always hard and painful. Parang laging first time yung sakit pag umaalis si Ly.
So they always talk thru video call sa Skype or sa FT, they always manage to communicate especially na malayo sila sa isa't-isa.
But of course, since they are not in a simple set up, being in a LDR is really hard, lalo na sa mga situations na you need your partner physically to be there for you.
Lalo na rin pag nababash yung girlfriend mo and your thousands of kilometers away from her.
