Ly's been tossing on her bed, unable to get her sleep. Kanina pa siya nagta-try na matulog but her mind is wide awake, nervous and excited for the biggest event of her life tomorrow.
"Shit, this won't work," she murmured. She looked at the right side of the bed and there's no Dennise in it, she pouted.
She gets her phone and opened their conversation, ang last text pa ni Den ay sleep early, baby, you'll see me tomorrow
"Well, can that tomorrow arrive already?" Ly said to herself. She texted Den.
Ly: Babe...okay before getting angry, let me explain. Hindi ako makatulog. You can't blame me oki? Kinakabahan ako! Pero mas excited ako to see you wearing a wedding gown. Can I call?
Pagka-send ni Ly ng text, wala pang 10 seconds, tumatawag na si Den.
"Babe," Ly said when she answered the call.
"Open the door," Den said.
"Huh?"
"Bingi babe? Open the door sabi ko, bilis, baka mahuli ako nila Ella," Den commanded, nagmadali naman si Ly na tumayo at binuksan yung pinto ng room niya.
"Baby?" Ly asked nang makita si Den. Den smiled and quickly entered Ly's hotel room, "anong ginagawa mo dito? Bawal 'to!"
"What? To see each other before wedding? Baby naman, di ka pa ba sure sa'kin para umatras at di matuloy kasal bukas?"
"Huh? Ang dami mong sinabi? Sinabi ko lang na bawal e," Ly answered.
Den chuckled, "okay, sorry, ba't ka nakatayo diyan? Sit beside me," Den ordered.
Sumunod naman si Ly at umupo sa couch sa tabi ni Den, "can we call na lang the judge and let's get this done with? Ayokong matulog ng wala ka."
"Wow, I can feel the eagerness of marrying me, babe," Den joked, "come on, few hours na lang babe. And I feel the same, though, when you texted, nandyan na ko sa labas ng room mo, pakatok na sana."
"You can't sleep, too?" Ly asked.
Den nodded, "I knew I had to see you tonight, siguro makatulog din ako when I got back sa room."
"Don't, dito na lang tayo pareho matulog."
"Gusto mong mabungangaan ka ni Inay Lita bukas?" Den asked while laughing, "let me hug my soon to be wife," Den said, closed the gap between them and hugged Alyssa tight.
Ly melted in Den's embrace, "I love you," she whispered.
"I love you more, baby," Den answered.
"Sure ka na ha? You won't runaway tomorrow?"
"I'll only runaway pag kasama kita."
Ly smiled, "that smart mouth."
"That you would like kiss and suck and whoever knows ano pa gusto mo gawin."
"Hoy! Bastos rin talaga bunganga mo minsan," Ly said.
"Suuuus, kunwari ka pa," Den teased.
"Grind on?" Ly asked. Den's eyes widened, habang si Ly natawa.
"SEE! MAS BASTOS KA SAKIN," Den emphasized.
"Nah, mas gusto ko ikaw yung nakaupo," Ly added.
"Leche ka," Den said and bit Ly's neck.
Ly yelped in pain but she just laughed it off.
"Ready ka na?"
"Matagal na," Den answered.
"Na makita ako everyday and everynight for the rest of your life?"
"Medyo nakakasawa--"
"What?!"
"HAHAHA! Just kidding baby, of course, wala naman na akong ibang mukha na gustong makita bago ako matulog at pagkagising kundi sayo lang, ready na rin ako sa snores mo at sa mga sunog na itlog."
Ly giggled, "ready na rin ako sa mga sudden pang-aaway mo sa'kin, and sa ssshh-wag-maingay-baby moments mo."
"How good it is to marry your one great love," Den said, Ly nodded in agreement.
"Babe?" Ly called Den.
"Hmm?"
"I promise to love you until my very last breath."
"Baby, bukas pa ang vows."
"I know, teaser lang yan," Ly answered.
Natawa si Den, "I promise to always choose you baby," she softly said and looked at Alyssa, "lagi kitang pipiliin," Den sincerely said while looking straight at Alyssa's eyes.
"At lagi kitang mamahalin," Ly said.
Slowly, their lips met, it was a soft and gentle kiss. Until someone pulled Den away from Ly.
"Aba magaling!" Ella said nang mahatak niya si Den palayo kay Ly.
"Besh!" reklamo ni Ly.
"Hoy! Bukas pa kasal nagtutukaan na kayo dito, isang gabi lang na naghiwalay e! Beshies naman!" sermon ni Ella. Den, who's standing beside Ella, laughed.
"Oo na, oo na, tara na besh," Den said.
"Babyyyy," Ly whined.
"I'll see you tomorrow babe, try to sleep, okay?" Den told Ly.
Ly pouted, "okay."
"Peste, ang pabebe," bulong ni Ella.
Hinatid ni Ly yung dalawa sa door, hawak hawak ni Ella si Den sa arm.
"Babe, wait," Ly said and quickly pulled Den to her and gave Den a kiss on the lips, "see you tomorrow."
"See you tomorrow, my wife-to-be," Den answered and winked at Ly.
