Ly went home at their flat past 10. Naabutan niya si Den na mahimbing nang natutulog.
"Sorry for coming home late again, babe," she whispered then she kissed Den on forehead.
"Hmm," Den mumbled, "babe?" she said when she opened her eyes and nakita niya si Ly na nakatingin sa kanya.
"Hi," Ly greeted her.
"Kauwi mo lang?" Den asked her while sitting sa bed, Ly nodded, "have you eaten?"
"Yes, I did," Ly answered, "you can go back to sleep na, babe, I'll just get a shower."
"Okay," Den said whie yawning, she reached out kay Ly and kissed the latter, "goodnight, I love you."
"Goodnight, babe, I love you more," Ly replied, Den smiled at her tsaka humiga ulit.
"Please be quick, babe, and hug me," Den mumbled, natawa si Ly cause Den's already sleep talking.
"Aye aye, captain," Ly answered.
Just 10 minutes later, Den's already hugging Ly.
Den woke up first at 6, nagulat pa siya when Ly's beside her.
"Oh, so hindi pala panaginip yung kagabi?" Den asked herself, she stared at Ly na mahimbing ang tulog, and she can't help herself but smile, her girlfriend's really beautiful, "you look so tired, babe, ano ba kasing pinaggaga-gawa mo sa buhay mo, ha?"
"Minamahal ka," Ly answered tsaka hinigit pa si Den papalapit sa kanya.
"Kanina ka pa gising?" Den asked her.
"Yup," Ly answered, still closed eyes, "but I want to sleep more."
"Okay, you can sleep more," sabi ni Den, tatanggalin na sana niya yung pagkakayakap ni Ly sa kanya but Ly just held her tighter.
"I want to sleep more beside you, don't go yet," Ly whispered.
"Fine," Den answered, she quickly kissed Ly sa lips, Ly smiled and went back to sleep.
When Den's sure na Ly's already sleeping, she carefully got out of the bed, took a shower at nagluto ng breakfast, she knows Ly will wake up any time soon. Sa loob ng 7 years na magkasama sila, they already memorized each other's routines.
Right after matapos niyang magluto, Ly went out from their room, na naka-pout.
"Why did you get up early?" Ly asked her.
"To cook for you?" Den answered Ly while smiling.
"Okay, fine, magta-tantrums pa naman sana ako," Ly said tsaka umupo, "what do we have here, Chef Den?"
"Hmm, for today's menu, we have here a very special fried rice, it's made with rice of course, some seasonings, garlic, tiny cuts of hotdog, ham, and egg, and of course, with love," Den said, natawa naman si Ly, "and for ulam, we have here hotdogs and fried chicken, all made with love din, for you," Den said to Ly then winked.
"I'm a lucky bastard," Ly said.
"You really are," agree naman ni Den that made the both of them laugh.
They're on the middle of eating breakfast when Ly's phone rang. Ly looked into her phone and tumingin siya kay Den.
"Uhm, babe, I have to answer this call," Ly said kay Den.
"Sure!" Den replied, tumayo naman si Ly at pumunta sa kwarto to talk sa tumawag sa kanya, Den had a feeling about that, though. Ly always answer her phone even magkasama sila. Unless.... "Stop it, Den," Den said to herself. Bumalik naman si Ly after a couple of minutes.
