Like broken glass longs a diamond to be
Like a star shining bright beneath this canopy
I long, once again, for your eyes to see
Me as I am will you ever foresee
A future with you is my menial plea
And to gain such I would proclaim with glee
From the rooftops where all, even he
Be jealous for in my possession the key
To the writing of futures for you and me
