Snow In The Spring

Daylight breaks as snow are clouds

Hovering over the child's toys

Destroying each one along with joys

And disappearing as the sun unshrouds

Glinting like a diamond peculiarly cut

Slithering as a snake down the sidewalk trough

Avoiding leaves as they surely scoff

Finally stopping to find the front door shut
