Hey honey I've missed you here
Out the window into the sky I peer
Everyday I'm wishing to be near
The one that is held so dear
Entering into this state of mind
That we're forever caught in a bind
Yet lately I've been so jelly-spined
To the wrong one I feel my life is signed
But you manage to stand by me
Though rough and stormy is the sea
Which only makes me long to be
The one in front upon his knee
Exiting asleep in hope you will rouse
Awaken me when comatose allows
Sitting within this blue town house
You look so timid as a church mouse
Hiding beneath the blanket soft
Underneath the starry loft
While so many turned and scoffed
An idea that mother choked and coughed
But I'll fight this disdain
Fight through any pain
From your support I earned my mane
And kept my mental state sane
So here I am with an open heart
Take a script, play this part
Together paint brand new art
Finally begin this last fresh start
