Season 1: Episode 3

Joseph's POV

I sneaked back into my house while my Aunt was still asleep. I look at my clock. 5:20. I sighed. "Scales, lights on!" I said, just as I go back to my normal clothes. I sighed. "That was rough," I said. "Hey it's your first try," said Scales. "Not just that. It's been a while since I've transformed so the suit feels a bit different," I said. "Im not surprised. It's a bit different from that spandex suit you wore when you were a ranger," He said. "ITS NOT SPANDEX!" I stated. "Whatever, I'm hungry," said Scales. "Wait? You can eat?" I asked. "Well of course. Every living thing eats," he said. "Well, what would you like?" I asked. "Hm........I'd like some chocolate," Scales continued. "Hm...... Well I do have some left over pocky. Here," I said, grabbing two pocky sticks.

"Thanks. Num......," he said taking a bite out of it. I put the second pocky in my mouth and layed there in my bed. I sighed, taking out my phone. "Whatcha doing?" Asked Scales with his mouth full. "Trying to check what day is today," I said looking at my calendar in my phone. I smiled. "Today's the day," I said. "What do you mean?" asked Scales. "It's our anniversary," I said. "Who you and Annaliz's?" He asked. I looked at him. "No duh," I said getting up and changing my black shirt, to a white shirt and put on a red jacket. I looked at my desk, and see my Growl Phone.

I walked towards it and look at them for a couple of seconds. I lightly smiled as got a small golden box out the drawer of my desk. "What's inside?" Scales asked. I smiled. "Something I've been waiting to give her," I said. Scales raised an eyebrow.

"You can't marry her yet," he said. "W-What?! No! I'm just gonna give her some earings. I mean I love her, I just don't think I'm ready for that. Plus her father will shoot me on sight before I could propose to her," I said. "Ooooook? Well can I see it then?" He asked. "Sure," I said, opening the box.

Scales smiled. "They're pretty, she'll love it," he said. "Thanks, now let's get going" I said, getting my stuff.

Later After School

Both me and Annaliz were sitting at the bus that takes us to the Teen Center. I'm not sure if I'll be walking for a while. Anyway, Annaliz started resting her head against my chest while I put my arms around her. Poor girl, guess that trip to San Juan must have been pretty tiring. I smiled and whispered to her ear, "happy anniversary m'lady." She looked at me and smiled. "You remembered," she said. "Of course I did. What kind of boyfriend would I be if I forgot. Oh and here," I said, giving her the box. She opened it and smiled. "It's beautiful. Thank you," she said hugging me. I smiled back and kissed her on the forehead.

We finally got to the Teen and I decided to head towards the Homework Area, where I usually see Mr. Davila. Think of him as an intelligent handsome man with dark skin who knows a lot about tech in general. He's also really good with robotic. "Hey Davila!" I said walking towards him. "Hey Joseph, nice to see you're doing better," he said giving me a fist bump. "What are you doing?" I asked. "Oh you'll see," he said, typing. "Annnnnnnnnnd now," he said, pressing enter. "Joseph, meet my new artificial intelligence, ARIES," said Davila. "It's a pleasure to meet you, Joseph," ARIES said. "Davila, is there nothing you can do?" I said as I looked in amazement. He smirks with pride as he looks at my watch. "That watch of yours, did Jose give it to you by any chance?" He asked, raising an eyebrow. "Um......yeah? Why do you ask?" I said. He looked around to see if the coast is clear. "Follow me," he said. I looked confused but followed him anyway.

We entered the Computer Lab. He looked around again and then looked at me. "I wanna show you something," he said, opening two cabinet doors. He press a button, which opened the back of the cabinet, leading to a small, lit up hallway. I chuckle. "That doesn't get old," I said. Both me and Eric worked with Davila for a while in this secret lab he's had for I'd say 5 years now. Anyway, I usually tend to help as much as I can.

"Now come on, I wanna show you something," he said, heading down the hallway. I followed. When we finally got there, I looked around. The labs main area had top of the line tools and gadgets, along with some monitors on the desk area. "I see you got some new toys. Where did you get them?" I asked. "I've got my ways. Speaking of which I've got something for ya," he said going to a drawer taking out something. "Here, catch," he said throwing them. I quickly grabbed them at take a better look. "Are these-," I ask before he answered almost immediately. "Webshooters. Yep, they're one of the new models I made. Plus I thought you might need them. Knowing you, your gonna want to be out there doing what you can for everyone," he said. I smiled. "Thanks," I said as I turned around and see Eric working on his speed. A while ago he worked on this thing he called Velocity 9. It helped give him the super speed he's been working on getting along with everything that comes with it.

"Holy sh-" I said. "Hey, language," Davila said. "Right. But I mean look him. Eric's been getting faster by the days," I said. "I know, but I have a feeling that he can go even faster," he said. "You've got that right. Anyway, I've gotta go. Annaliz must be looking for me," I said. "Right well I'll see you then," he said, looking at me with a smile. "You know it," I said, heading back up.
