Joseph's POV

I began to walk around our base of operation and just started glancing around. "Wow. Davila and the others really fixed the place up," I said before looking at the giant screen we had and see our logo.

S.T.A.R. Labs.

I smiled before I began to walk to the fitness room. Now our fitness room was HUGE! We had enough space for both a ring that Davila made himself, along with Eric's help, and a pair of gymnastics equipment. I also noticed some of the weighs on the side. But I decided not to use them today. I'd rather work on my punches and kicks right now.

So I dropped my bag, took off my glove and began to put on some boxing tape on my hands. I also let Scales out of my watch and just let him eat some of the peppers I brought. After that I grabbed one of punching bags and clipped it onto the steel chain. After that I got to my fighting stance and closed my eyes. I took a deep breath and opened my eyes once again. That's when I started throwing my punches. At first I just threw a few small jabs, ya know, without using much of my strength. But then I started to throw a few hard punches, along with some straight punches and some hooks. That's when I started to think about what Zenith said.

"That symbol can help you communicate with me. But you can also do more. I can help you defeat those Akumas, not to mention Shaokan himself......" I began to punch harder and harder and harder and- you get the point. I couldn't get his voice out of my head. "Should I trust what he says? I mean he's a DEMON?! How can I trust such an unholy creature. I mean they're nothing but killers, liars and sinners. But......

"Why do I get the feeling that he's actually trying to help?"

I suddenly hear Eric's voice saying, "Holy shit." I look to see Eric with a burrito in one hand and his eyes a bit widened. I then turned my head to the punching bag. My eyes widen as well. I seemed that I punched through the bag without even realizing. Damn, guess I don't know my own strength. I gently pulled my hand out of the bag. But as I did, the sand from the inside of the punching bag started pouring out. I looked at my hand made a fist. What should I do? Should I take that chance?

Meanwhile

It's been a few hours since Mike got kicked out of his parent's place. He still couldn't what had happened. How could my own dad do this to me?! I mean, I'm his fucking son!! Who would do this to their son?! *sigh* Fuck it. It doesn't matter anymore. At this point, I just need something strong to drink. He thought to himself as he quickly found a bar called The Devil's Den. He entered the bar and started to drink heavily. After having more booze than he could handle, Mike just looked at both the empty glass he had and a ring that his dad had given to him a long time ago. He felt so done with everything.

That's when he heard a couple of bikers playing pool. He turned towards them and began to chuckle to himself and walked sloppily towards them. He stopped them half way through their game, asking them if they could buy him another drink. The bikers, who seemed annoyed at his presence, told him to fuck off. However, in his drunken state, he wasn't gonna listen to them. So he kept pestering them. And it wasn't until he brought up their motorcycles was when things really got heated. The biker, who was furious, grabbed a pool cue and slammed it on his head, breaking upon impact. It hurt him but it didn't knock him out, so another biker came in and slammed his half-drank beer bottle, which broke causing small glass fractals to leave cuts on some parts of his head. He was later thrown by both of those bikers out of the bar, leaving him on the floor with a few drops of beer and blood surround his head. He grinded his teeth as he tried to hold in his tears. All he could do was yell at the world to go to hell. This went on for a while. At least until he got on his knees and slowly began to cry. He'd never thought he'd ever feel so weak in his life like he did today.

But that was soon about to change.

Clang....

Clang......

Clang.........

He looked around as he heard the clanging noise. They sound like chains, he thought. He quickly brought his head up, quickly brushed off his tears and got up. As the noise got closer, he began to get in a boxing stance. "Show yourself!" He ordered whatever it was in the darkness. And like it was told, it did. With what little light there was, Mike was able to see whatever it was in the darkness. And it was frightening.

Whatever it was, it wasn't human anymore

Whatever it was, it wasn't human anymore. His mouth was sowed together, along with some cut skin on the side of his sowed-in mouth, making it look like a bloody smile. His eyes were widened in a painful manner and his skin was a pale white. In addition to that, it wore a straight jacket with chains on its feet and neck.

That thing got close. Too close for his taste. He told it to stop. And it did. He was in terrified. What the hell is that thing? That thing moved it's skinny yet bony fingers. It almost looked like sign-language. Too bad he didn't understand anything that thing was saying. And it seemed that the creature knew that. So it did the next best thing. It began to cut itself and write something with its blood. With a bit of courage, he looked at what it wrote.

Do You Want Power?

That's what it said. He looked at the creature. Now he understood why it was here. Mike stood up with a frown as nodded. "I want it. All of it," he said. The creature nodded as it covered his other hand. And as it opened his hands a purple butterfly flew from it landing on my ring. And as it did, I heard a voice.

"Michael Ramirez, you have suffered so much. Well, that's about to change. You will be given the power to destroy anyone who as wronged you. What do you say, Havoc?"

He smirks as his eyes changed color. "Count me in. Let's show these bastards how true hell feels like!" He finally said before a cloud of purple mist surrounds him. The mist enters the bar where all you hear is the screams of the people inside pleading mercy and getting none.
