Season 1: Episode 18

Joseph's POV

I start to feel the warm, morning light hitting my face. I slowly open my eyes and feel what I call a morning headache. I let out a groan and slowly get on a sitting position. "My head," I said to myself. That's when I noticed I don't have a shirt and seemed to have bandages on my chest. "The hell?" I continued. I turn and see a sleeping Annaliz, resting right beside. I smiled a bit. I tried to move as best as possible to not wake her up and went towards her desk's chair, which had my shirt hanging there. I looked at it until something caught my attention.

I saw bloody cottonballs, rolled bandages, medical alcohol, and a jar with some kind of yellowish liquid. I grab a hold of the jar of liquid. Then it sparked something. Some kind of flashback of Cobra, injecting a familiar liquid like this. I put more force on that grip, then stopped and moved it back to where it originally was. I look back at my shirt and take it. I start to put it on when I heard a familiar voice. "Morning."

I turn to see Annaliz, giving me a warm smile, sitting while hugging her knees. I smiled back and said, "Morning beautiful. How'd you sleep?" "I slept fine," she said, giving a cute yawn. I sat next to her and looked at her. "What happened last night?" I asked. As soon as she heard that she immediately blushed. "I mean, I see medical stuff on your desk and bandages on my chest. So, what's the deal?" I continued. She looks at me, with her cheeks flushing more and more red O/////O.

"W- Well, you see...... w- what's the last thing r- remember?" She murmured. I grab my chin and start to think. "Well, I remember getting injected with some kind of liquid, getting beat up and barely escaping. But other than that, not much," I said. "W- Well, you were poisoned and hurt R- REALLY bad. I managed to get, hopefully, all the poison out before.......," she said stopping for a moment. "Before what?" I asked, curiously. "W- Well, let's just say before things got, out of hand," she said looking the other way. I raised an eyebrow. "In what way?" I asked even more curious.

"W- Well, let's just say, you were um...... getting....... f- frisky," she said in a low tone of voice, making it hard to understand. Still, it took me a few seconds to realize what she said. I slowly began to blush, while Annaliz was getting redder than a tomato. I instantly put my head down and said, "OH GOD I'M SO SORRY!! PLEASE FORGIVE ME!!" She shook her head to stop her blushing and said, "I- It's ok. I know you weren't completely yourself." I looked at her. "I feel so embarrassed," I said, looking down, blushing. She smiled and begins to hug me. "You don't have to be. Cause I know that it wasn't you," she said. At this point, I honestly couldn't help it but hug back. We hugged for a moment until she had to pull away. "We should get ready," she said. "Ready? Ready for what?" I asked, confused. She giggled a bit and said, "For our date you goof," she said. "Crap, I forgot," I said, cracking a smile, while scratching the back of my head like a dork. Annaliz smiles.

Later

We got out of her house and started heading towards Starbucks. We entered and I quickly got noticed by a worker there. "Hey kid!" He shouted. I walked towards him, a bit confused. "Hey, the workers here just wanted to say thanks for helping us with that robber incident. Ashley especially," he said. "Oh, no problem. Just wanted to help," I said. "Well, names John. And ya know, this world need people like you," he said said give a smile. I smiled back. "Now then, would you like anything?" John asked. "Oh I'll just have two of what I had last time, both with cream," I said. "Alright, anything else?" He asked. "That'll be all," I said, getting out a 20. He stops me and says, "Nah man, it's on the house."

"Really? Thanks!" I said, giving a childish smile. We waited for a minute or so when we heard two familiar voices. We turn to see Daniel and Alexia, who seemed to have already ordered something to drink. "Well hey there. Didn't expect to see you two love birds here," I said. "Same to you. What are you guys doing?" Asked Daniel. "Well, we're on our date right now," stated Annaliz. "Really?! So are we!!" Said Alexia. "Hey, why don't you guys come with us to the new bowling alley that just opened up? It'll be like a double date," said Daniel. "That sounds great. We were actually thinking of heading there," I said, before our drinks were then given to us. "Alright, let's go!" Said Daniel, leading the way.
