I opened my eyes, yet I couldn't see anything. There was only darkness. Just the black, lonely, darkness.
Suddenly, I felt myself falling into and endless pit. After a few solid second of confusion, I felt my body hit the floor, hard. I groaned as I slowly got up. "The hell-," I said before I saw two bright yellow eyes looking right at me. I turned towards it, getting in a fighting stance. But I couldn't stop shaking. Am I afraid? No that's not possible, I can't be scared. Then why am I shaking so much? I thought to myself.
I could feel it getting closer. And the closer it got, the more I could feel it's power rising. That's when I saw it. It's face, was quite chilling, and the smoke surrounding it wasn't making it any better.

"W-What-Who are you?!" I yelled at it. It looked at me and in a deep and echo y voice, he answered. "Zenith. . ." The thing said as he came at me with tremendous speed. I tried to cover my my face as I closed my eyes, but suddenly.......
I woke up.
I stood up straight like a zombie coming back from the dead, taking heavy breaths. I wipe the sweat from my face and started to feel the bright, warm sun from my half covered window. I looked at my right hand, the one with the burned in pentagram, and just sighed. "I must be losing it," I said to myself as I got off my bed. I started to reach out for a shirt from my cabinet, when I found my old white office t-shirt. I softly smiled as I put it on, along with a dark grey jacket with black cloth sleeves, wore some ripped jean I found in my closet and some gray shoes. I went downstairs as I grabbed my backpack and the nearest food I could find, which was some chili peppers and a protein bar, as I just ran out to school. Weird combination I know, but some of the peppers are for Scales to eat.
I look at the entrance of my high school. A smirk grew on my face as I entered, pulling my hood up. I looked around to see if I could find them. Daniel, Eruin, Alexia, and of course, Annaliz. I walked a few seconds til I found them outside hanging around at one of the picnic tables. I began walking towards them until I noticed someone I really didn't want to see. Mike, I thought to myself, as my expression changed. I didn't walk over to them just yet. I waited to see what he wanted from them. Lucklily they haven't noticed me yet so I started to pick up their conversation.
"Hey there beautiful~," said Mike in the most uncomfortable tone ever. And the others would agree. "What is it this time?" asked Annaliz in her sacasam tone of voice. Mike grinned. "I noticed Joseph hasn't made it back yet, I was wondering if you'd-," he said before Annaliz got up and smacked him right in the face. "How many times do I have to say this, I don't fucking like you and I never will. So take a hike and deal with it," she said as she was about to sit back down. But Mike had other plans. "Damn, wasn't expecting that from you. For a quiet girl, you're pretty rough. To be honest, I dig that," He said, placing his arm on her shoulder before noticeably getting way too close for comfort. I was gonna confront him until I see both Daniel and Eruin getting up from the table. I stayed back, just to see how this plays out. "Mike, let her go," said Daniel, getting closer. "Mike, no queremos ningún problema," stated Eruin, not wanting any trouble. Mike only grinned. "Welp, guess trouble found you," He said before he let go of her and attack Eruin.
Mike grabbed Eruin from off his seat, and threw him like a rag-doll against the floor before he began striking him down, leaving Eruin to cover himself as best as he could. But he only took a few swings before Daniel grabbed him and pulled off of Eruin. But just as he did, Mike shoved him off before he struck Daniel in the gut and jammed him right in the jaw with an uppercut. But as Daniel hit the floor, Eruin got back up and grabbed Mike in a choke-hold. But seeing as Eruin isn't as experienced, Mike easily grabbed him, reversing it into a slam, as his opponent impacted the ground hard. And as Eruin groaned in pain, trying to catch some air, Mike grabbed a hold on one of his arm and goes to a position in which he's able to dislocate his shoulder. This was a good time as any to step in.
He looks at both Alexia and Annaliz with a bit of satisfaction in his face. "MIKE! DON'T DO IT!" yelled Annaliz. Eruin stayed in place, knowing he couldn't do anything to get him off of him. However just as Mike was gonna land the finishing blow, I rushed in, slamming my fist against his face with enough force for him to land a few feet from Eruin. Everyone's attention had at this point changed towards me. They were confused yet curious as to who I was, since my hood covered over half of my face. All except one. Daniel gave a slight chuckle as he spat on the ground. "About time you showed up," said Daniel, getting back up. Anna with a confused look, kept her eyes locked at me. A smile was kept on my face as I pulled the hood off. All except Daniel had a shocked express on their face. Mike slowly got up, covering his cheek, and looked at me as his somewhat shocked face changed. "Well shit, I thought I wouldn't see you again . Enjoying the show?" he said. I frowned. "Not one bit," I answered. "What the hell took you so long to come back? Most of us thought you died or some shit. So why come back now?" he asked. "It's best I don't answer that. But I'm here now, and that's all that matters," I stated. "Is that so? Well then. Let's finish this, shall we?" he said getting in a fighting stand. I frowned, doing the same.
