Season 1: Episode 22

Joseph's POV

Cobra's body started changing. He grew taller, his veins started to be shown around his body, his muscles became buckier, his eyes becoming sharp as a snake, and his skin shredding a bit, just like the bear I went up against. I frown and shot a few webs at his hands and legs, leaving him stuck in place. He looks at me and smirks. "Do you really think that this is gonna stop me," he said easily ripping the webbing off his body like it was nothing. "Welp...... worth a try," I said as I ran towards him throwing a couple of punches.

He smirks as he begins to block each punch. I managed to change at the last second and went with a high kick. But he quickly saw it, grabbed my leg, and hit me so hard, I broke the hidden bookshelf door and landed against the wall. "Damn, that hurt," I said groaning as I got up. I suddenly see Cobra a few feet from me. I managed to move to the side, barely dodging his punched, who in which made a hole against the wall. I tried to throw a punch, till he grabbed my arm, and punches me again. I moved a few inches before falling to the floor. I groan and activate my comm. "Damn, his punches feel like recking balls," I said.

"It must be whatever he put in that serum," said Davila.

"Yeah, no shit," I said as I did a kip up, landing on my feet, and pulling out a pistol. I began shooting, noticing that as it struck him, it didn't seem to harm him much. He looks at me and gives a slight chuckle. "That tickled," he said, as he moved closer. He then pulls a strong punch. I managed to block it, but it pushed me a few inches away from him. That gave me a chance to do something I've been working on. I channel the dark matter and focus it on my hand. Doing this, started forming a black and red flame surround my hand. As it readied, Cobra looked confused. I took the chance and ran towards him. I superman punched him right in the jaw, saying out loud, "Phantom Punch."

"Alright!!" Yelled Davila and Annaliz in my comm, as Cobra fell on the floor, hard.

I covered my ear, trying my best not to focus on the ear rape and quickly thought of something. I pulled out the small web fluid container, from one of my web shooters, and threw it towards him. As it hits Cobra, it began to bounce off him. I pulled out my pistol and shot the container, making all the webbing surround Cobra, not to mention electrifying him. He screams in pain, by then stops. I pant. "I think, it's over," I said, taking deep breaths. I turn around and took a few steps until.......

I felt a sharp pain in the lower side of my abdomen. I look down to see that I've been impaled. I slowly grab the blade and feel the blood dripping. He moved his head towards my ears. "Did you really think it would be that easy?" He said, as I feel his breath against my neck. He then pulls out the blade and roundhouse kicks me so hard, I end up in the hallway. I slowly begin to get up, trying to cover up the blood. I look at what's in front of me and see two arrows heading towards me. I was too weak to move, and so I let the arrows strike me, attaching me against the wall. I groan in pain.

Cobra walks towards me, throwing the crossbow to the side, and chuckles. He stops a few inches away from me move his jaw a bit. "Not gonna lie, that stunt you just pulled hurt," he said. "But this will will hurt much worse," he said, raising his hand and begins to punch me. He punches me a few times in the jaw, and in the eye, breaking one of my lenses.

I hear Anna and Davila's voices, getting more and more worried. I feel blood dripping from my mouth. "You ba-" was all I said before he impaled me once again, this time near my lungs. It was honestly getting a bit harder to breath at that point. My body began getting heavy. "I gave you so many chances. And yet you decided to play the hero. Well guess what Phantom. Heroes die young," he said as he moved the blade closer to my heart. I groan in pain, as he pulls out the blade. "It's a shame really. Guess things don't go the way you always want them to," he says as he turns around and walks away.
