Welp, I just got detention, which sucks. Funny thing is, the vice-principle quietly thanked me. Turns out Mike had gotten rather violent and has been causing havoc in school for the past month. However he'll be facing severe punishments for his actions. But I still broke one of the rules so I had to be punished as well. So he gave it just a detention and a warning, instead of a suspension, which was fine. Anyway, as detention finished and as I left school, I quickly saw Daniel, Eric, Annaliz, and Jace waiting there for me. I smiled. Daniel quickly saw me and smirk. "Well it's about time," he said as everyone turned around and smiled, except Jace of course. "Congratulation dipshit, first time back and already you got in trouble," said Jace with his arms crossed in his usual tone of voice. It's probably best to say that Jace actually already knows about my situation. But by the looks of it, he doesn't really care.
I chuckle. "Well what did you expect me to-" was all I was able to say before Anna came towards me with a sudden tight hug. She was really worried. I smiled to myself as I hugged back. We stayed like this for a few seconds before she pulled away. "You've got a lot of explaining to do," she said in a serious tone of voice. I patted her head as I smiled and said, "I know. And I'll explain it along the way." I could tell Annaliz was getting annoyed because I was petting her. But to me it was honestly adorable.
We entered the lab, with me finishing my explanation to Anna. "So yeah, that's what I'm dealing with now," I said looking at her. I quickly noticed that something was up. Like she was thinking about something. "What's on your mind?" I asked, a bit curious. "It all makes sense now," I hear her say. "What does?" I asked, very confused. She quickly goes over the huge computer monitor and pulls out a few files with images, information, and videos of some strange creatures that looks anything but normal. I look at the files name. Akumas.
"You see, ever since your disappearance, there has been reports of people gone missing and strange creatures popping from no where attacking all around the island. They're ruthless, unpredictable, and very dangerous," she explained, showing me a video that gave such example of what she meant. But the more I looked at the video those creatures, the more, familiar they seemed to be. Almost as if, I was a part of them in some way. "Have you found any weaknesses?" I asked. She nodded no. "I see. Well, we'll figure something out. But in the meantime, I need to get to Davila and see what he came up with," I said walking of to a different room. But before I did, I quickly noticed Anna wearing some new earrings.
