"Anna, where's the sirens coming from?" I asked websling across San Juan.

"Make a right turn, pass Plaza de Arms, and you'll see the Jewelry store," stated Anna.

"There also seems to be some sterdy heat signatures coming from that place. Whatever it is, it's strong. So be careful," said Davila talking in the mic, while looking at the computer.

"I won't be able to get there in time," I said in the mic.

Davila smirk. "We've got that covered," he said.

Meanwhile

"Alright, now where the hell are those diamonds? Now!" Yelled a man, with a beard and a eye patch. "Th- They're in the vault. But there's no way in hell I'll open it for you!" Said one of the workers on his knees, a bit shaken. One of the thiefs aimed their gun at the worker. The eye patched man sighs. "Don't worry. I don't need your pitty password," he said, holding out and activating a futuristic looking weapon.

"I've got this to do it for you," he said as he aimed at the vault and pulled the trigger, letting out a red lazer

"I've got this to do it for you," he said as he aimed at the vault and pulled the trigger, letting out a red lazer. As the lazer cut through the vault door, he saw the hundreds, upon hundreds of diamonds inside, and in the middle, was a the biggest, shimmering diamond he's ever seen. He just hit the jackpot. He smirked. "We're gonna be rich," he said, grabbing hold of the diamond.

"Not so fast, eyepath," said a voice.

The thief turns around, seeing the flash. And beside the flash was his partners on the floor. "Hmph, I expected the Phantom, but you'll do just fine," he said, aiming his rifle at the flash.

"That must be what's causing the thermal system to go out of control," said Davila in Erik's comm.

"Nice toy, too bad I'll have to take it away from you," said Erik. The thief smirks. "I don't think so," he said as he shot a few plasma like-bullets. Erik quickly dodges them, making them head outside. Erik smirked. "Did you really think that would work," said Erik, crossing his arms.

"Nope, that's why I came prepared," said the thief as he pressed a button on his weapon. Doing this caused all the bullets to come back towards Erik. Erik realizes this. "Crap," he said as he sped off trying to get these bullets of his tail. The thief turns, with a smirk. He took a few steps in the vault when the light suddenly began flickering. The thief's smirk grew larger. "There you are Phantom. I was hoping you'd come," he said.

"So you're Plunder," I said appearing behind him. "Or would you like me to call you by your real name, Jared Morillo," I said.

His eyes widen. "You bastard, Jared Morillo is dead!" Plunder said as he turned and shot some plasma bullets. "Ya know, I'm surprised that a veteran like you would just, disappear after 15 years. Why is that?" I said as I appeared inside the vault, behind him. He turned around and began shooting once more, yet I disappeared once more. "Was it because you lost your eye, or was it something else?" I said, toying with him.

He grew enraged " S H U T U P!!!" He yelled activating the same lazer that opened up the vault door. The lazer cut through the counters. He stops to take a few deep breaths. I suddenly put my hands on his shoulder, saying, "Let's take this outside."

Plunder was thrown out, breaking the glass upon impact, not to mention hitting the floor hard. I came outside kicking down the door, with the rifle at hand. He turns towards to his back, groaning, still on the ground. I look at him and aimed the rifle at him. He chuckles slightly. "There's no way in hell you'll know how to use that, not to mention shoot it," he stated. I pressed the, what looked like the safety and switched the lever to rapid fire. "I'm a quick learner," I said aiming it one more. We looked at each other for a solid minute. That's when his expression changed. Like he could see my, serious, expression behind my mask. I put my index finger closer to the trigger until.....

"Yo, I need a little help here!" Yelled Erik in his comm.

I stopped and activated my comm. "What's wrong," I said. "I've got these bullets on my tail and I can't shake them!" Continued Erik, going around the city. I tried to think and then I realized something. "Hey Flash, time to faze through your problems," I said.

He quickly understood what I said and did just that, going through a concrete wall. Doing this caused the bullets to hit the wall , causing them to stop upon impact. Erik smirked. "Thanks, I'll be there in a flash," he said.

I slightly smiled and then looked at where Plunder was.

He was gone.

My smile quickly turned into a frown. "Plunder's gone," I said. "What, crap. So what now? Do we look for him?" He asked. "No, I've got his rifle, so he's unarmed. Speaking of which I need you to get it back to base," I said. "Huh? Why can't you?" He asked curiously. I took a deep breath. "I need to go somewhere I haven't gone in a while. . ."
