Season 2: Episode 10

Joseph's POV

I entered inside Starbucks in my regular clothes and looked around. Eruin quickly noticed me. "Hay dios mio tú casi me das un ataque del corazón," stated Eruin, holding on to his chest. I cracked a smile. "Lo siento Eruin. Tenia qué ayudar," I said. "Tacho un dia, esto te va a matar," he said giving a slight chuckle. "Bueno, polomeno yo murio por algo qué me gusta hacer," I said, smiling.

I managed to get to the lab and caught up with Davila. He began to test my body, keeping it on his notes. It was like a physical. After that we checked my progress. Looked at my status from 2 years ago then from the one we just took. We quickly notice a difference. My brain started functioning a bit faster than normal, able to memorize things rather quickly. My muscles have also gotten a bulker than from last time. Though this I never really cared about since I've always thought of myself as being fit. But other than that my body seemed normal.

"Did you see what happened?" I asked. "With you and the Akuma? Yeah. Lucky for us, that fight managed to help us," he said. "What do you mean?" I asked, confused. He began typing something on the computer and began to open surveillance footage of the fight, while the other computers froze into a before and after picture. He zoomed into the footage to both the chest area of the creature and the necklace I had in my hand. "Thanks to you, we've managed to find the weakness of those things. And not only that but we've managed to find the source of the Akuma transformation," he said, zooming in the 'Akumatized' butterfly.

"Still, we'll need to purify them, just to stop them from turning other people into those things," I stated. "Why don't you ask Ladybug. You two seem to already have chemistry together," he stated. "I've just met her, though she could be a huge asset to the team...... Hm...... I'll ask her," I said. "Right, you do that. I'll try and work on a few things," said Davila, continuing to work on the computer.

I left the room to find Erik, running on the treadmill we built for him to help excel his speed and his connect with the speed force. I looked at his stats and noticed a sertain increase in power. I smiled and as I turned on the intercom. "That's enough for today, Devon," I said. He looked at me and smiled. As he finished he came out of the room and began giving me a handshake. "Hey, how did your physical turn out?" He asked. "Seems like everythings alright with me. At least both physically and neurologically," I stated. "That's what matters man. Oh yeah, I've been meaning to tell you. Me and Emma are doing great! I'm honestly the happiest guy when it comes to being with her," he said. "That's great man. It's honestly amazing to hear that" I stated. "I know right," he said, sounding quite excited. I smiled at this as we on and kept talking for a long while.

It was getting dark so I began to head out. I started walking off into the night as a full moon could be seen. It was a bit chillier than usual but I just shrugged thinking nothing of it. I continued to walk until I made it to a cross walk, near a street light. I began to wait for the sign to change. But as I looked around, there was no cars coming. In fact, I didn't even hear the coquís nor the crickets. It was weird. I continued to waited until I heard something. A voice. I looked around, but no one was the there. But even though I didn't see anything, I could hear it getting closer. It didn't sound English nor did it sound Spanish. Hell, it didn't sound like any language I know of. But for some reason, I could almost understand it. It was weird. I looked at the sign, which wasn't changing at all. "Fuck it," I said as I fast walked my way out of that situation. Whatever I heard wasn't there, but after that I felt like I was being watch the whole way home.
