[Spin-off from Lover's Lane]
Joseph, after the disband of the Wild Fury Rangers, was starting to have a normal life. Well, as normal as it can be with having powers given to you from an explosion. That was until a...
I slowly raised myself as the sounds of Daniel wincing while Ladybug began to stitch the cut on the side of his temple. He twitched as the pain only continued, covering the side of his waist, which was bandaged up. "Daniel stay still," Ladybug spoke up, continuing with the stitching. I grabbed onto the desk as I still held onto the empty glock while some of my blood dripped on the floor from the scratch on my cheek and arm. I took a good look around the place. There were claw marks on the walls, destroyed monitors, melted desks, you know, how it would look like if some big bad and his cronies came busting in like they owned the place. I groaned as I sat down on top of the desk, covering the wound inflicted on me.
"Is everyone alright?" I questioned. A quick streak of lightning came towards us. It was Eric, and he looked frantic. "Those bastards, they took Joey," Eric exclaimed, placing his hands behind his head before pacing around the room. "I-I couldn't stop him. . . They must've knocked me out I-, Damn it!" He yelled out, slamming his fist on the desk in frustration. I took another look at everyone. Daniel looked just as frustrated as Eric, while Ladybug did her best to hide her reaction. She seemed to stay strong, but the shaky stern grip she had as she held the first aid box told me everything I needed to know. But Davila seemed more serious rather than anything. "We have to get him back! Who knows what they'll do to him!" Eric continued. Davila went over towards a wall near some busted monitors, pressing his hand against one of the tiles. "I'm not gonna let them kill him, not on my watch!" Davila sternly stated as the wall began to reveal a suit. Both Eric's and my eyes widened at the sight of it. Davila's eyes locked with Eric, before pointing at him. "I suggest you get your suit ready," Davila stated before glancing at Daniel. "That goes for you two," he continued, leaving Daniel to only nod as he got up, going over towards me before he held my shoulder. "Follow me," was all he said, leaving me to simply nod as I followed behind Daniel, heading towards another area of the lab entirely.
Meanwhile Joseph's POV
Raising my head, I opened up my eyes, finding myself in a darken lab I wasn't familiar with. Looking around, I tried to move freely, only to realize I was strapped in place by my hands and feet. "God damn it. Not this again," I said to myself, my eyes getting more accustomed to the darkness as an odd shape covered by a blanket caught my eye. It was just there in the middle of the room, acquiring dust as if it was left abandoned. Thinking I still had time, I pulled away from my restraints, to no avail.
"Good, you're awake."
The voice of the demon spoke as some of the emergency lights began to light up the room, revealing some highly advanced machinery pressed against the wall behind the demon's silhouette as it outlined a large empty circle while a familiar emblem embedded against a few of the walls were also displayed, along with an aberration I knew all too well.
The words? S.C.P.
I stopped moving, my eyes locked on Shaokan. The demon kept his attention towards me, only with a sharp grin plastered all over his face. I could tell his arrogance was made visible. Almost like he thinks he's already won. Even so, I did everything I could to keep my head up and show none of my fear.
"Ah those eyes of yours. They show a new sense of confidence. It's almost like you've lost your fear of me. . . ."
The demon spoke, moving closer towards me, only to grab me by the jaw, keeping his menacing sight towards me.
"Almost"
I frowned at this, moving my head towards the side as he let go. He scoffed at this before making his way towards one of the walls as he pressed his hand against one of the emblems, chuckling under his breath.
"Fear has always been a motivation for you humans. And my how it's advanced your evolution"
My gaze strengthened as I looked at Shaokan, with my attempt to escape from these straps not being as noticeable as before.
"In the amount of time that I've been here, I've done my research of this place. Or rather the organization it held in it's doors. Their objective? To Secure what they call anomalies, Contain them in these overly engineered cages, and Protect the people from these being they could only hope to understand. What a joke"
Shaokan explained, placing his hands behind his back, inspecting the emblem. "I already know about these people. So why give me a history lesson?" I questioned. Shaokan simply scoffed.
"The SCP foundation was created simply because of fear. Theyfeared these creatures and what they could possibly do to the human race. And because of that fear, they created chaos. So much chaos that they end up abandoning many of their locations"
I looked around as he said this. "Let me guess, this is one of the places they've abandoned. But even then, that doesn't explain why you've brought me here," I argued. The demon turned his attention towards me, his grinning more visible as he walked towards the odd shape covered in the middle of the room.
"It's simple really"
Shaokan stated, grabbing the blanket before pulling it away, revealing a sort of floor mounted piece of machinery that at first glances seemed like a blaster of sorts.
