"Amy! Amy, come quick!" I ran outside to my backyard. which connected with the woods. I was six at the time.
"Hurry, Amy!" Luke shouted, waving his hands frantically towards me. He was my best friend, just a year older than me. I ran over and knelt down next to him, my yellow dress fluttering down around me.
"Look!" He held up a hand slowly towards me. A butterfly rested on his palm. I giggled at the winged creature landed on my hand next, its satin-smooth wings kissing my palm. We stared at it in awe, then watched as it flew away.
"Thank you for showing me!" I smiled up at his face, feeling happy with what just happened. He stared at my face for a moment, then kissed me. Before I could blink, he had run away from me. Although it was just as light as a feather, I could still feel the sparks it had ignited.
