Ivy's POV

Michael showed me to Calum's room and I placed the guitar on the bed before sitting down on it myself. Within a minute Michael was beside me "I don't know why we're up here, Michael. You obviously want to be downstairs with them I don't want to stop you" I told him watching him as he eyed the door he looked back at me "I don't. I'd have much more fun with you in ten minutes then I would with them in two hours" He said grinning at me I rolled my eyes "Aren't the bedrooms where drunk kids come to have sex during parties?" I asked "You sound like you have experience with that?" He questioned raising an eyebrow at me I laughed at him shaking my head "I would think your the experienced one in that department" I said patting his shoulder "Why would you think that?" He asked confused.

I wasn't quite sure how to answer Michael's question. I couldn't really tell him that I thought he was one of those obviously beautiful boys that clearly didn't know it. Or that I loved the way he really didn't care what others thought of him, I'd guessed that lots of girls would be after him due to that.

In the short space of time that I'd known Michael I'd grown an attachment to him. When he left I felt sort of empty and wanted him to be there again to fill up the space again.

Ever since I'd told him my story he'd opened up to me and had told me his own story that compared to mine my own problem seemed tiny.

I'd forgotten that Michael had asked me a question until he cleared his throat "Just a wild guess" I said smiling at him he laughed out loud "Your very bad at judging people, Ivy. Your guess is so wrong, I'm far from a ladies man" He told me looking away from my gaze "Why is that a bad thing?" I asked he shrugged "It's just that, I'd get noticed by people more if I was more like everyone else but I'm just not like everyone else " He said glumly I put a hand on his shoulder "You don't want to be like everyone else, Michael. Everyone else is boring" I told him he looked up at me from his lap and held my eyes for what felt like a long time before he stood up "I'm sorry, I really need to use the bathroom" He said scratching the back of his neck I laughed "Don't worry about it, go ahead" I said "Wait there okay? I still need to tell you something" He said pointing at me I nodded "I'll wait right here" I assured him before he left closing the door behind him.

He was gone a while, I figured there was a long line for the bathroom with the amount of people drinking their body weight in alcohol just downstairs. I looked out of the door suddenly needing the bathroom too but I saw no one.

I coughed slightly smelling smoke in the air I ran to the top of the stairs only to see fire pouring out of one of the rooms by the door I shouted for Michael but the house was empty.

I started to panic and ran back into Calum's bedroom and up to the window. I tried to open it but it was locked and I couldn't find the key anywhere. I saw Michael running around outside so I started hitting my fists against the window trying to get his attention, I shouted his name he looked up and the colour drained away from his face.

Frightened tears began pouring down my cheeks I kept hitting the window feeling myself getting weaker by the minute. A coughing fit over took me and I fell to the ground I saw a figure run into the room "Ivy?" The voice yelled unable to see me through the smoke "I'm here" I shouted the figure came to kneel in front of me and I could just make out blonde strands of hair peeking out under his hood he had his hand covering his mouth "Luke" I whispered " Ssh just cover your face we're getting you out of here okay?" He said pulling me up and keeping an arm under mine to bring me out of the room "Wait" I said stepping out from under his arm "Ivy what are you doing?" He growled "I need to bring Calum's guitar" I said and I grabbed it from the bed.
