"MICHAEL" I shouted as he held tightly onto my arm hanging down off of the edge, my hold of his arm being the only thing keeping him from plummeting down into the deep water below "Ivy" Michael called up to me looking me right in the eye "Its okay, Michael. I've got you" I told him even though I didn't have the tightest grip on his arm and I knew I wouldn't be able to hold his body up for long "No. Just let go, Ivy if I fall I'll only bring you down with me. Let me go and you'll be okay" He told me calmly I shook my head "No, I'm not letting go" I told him sternly.

I suddenly felt a pair of strong hands wrap around mine I turned my head and saw Calum breathing heavily beside me "Ivy, listen to me okay. I want you to let go of Michael's hand okay? Slowly now. I've got him just let go" Calum's soothing voice whispered in my ear I nodded slowly releasing Michaels arm.

Michaels body jolted slightly but Calum caught him quickly "I've got you buddy" Calum whispered under his breath I watched as the muscles in his arms tensed as he pulled Michael upwards, Michael reached out a hand and grabbed onto the railing pulling himself up and over the railings and he collapsed onto the floor his shaky legs too weak to keep him standing. I knelt down beside him placing q hand on his cold cheeks "I'm sorry" He whispered opening his eyes to look from Calum to me "No worries, so long as you're okay" Calum said sitting down cross legged beside me "Just don't even think about doing that to us ever again" Calum continued leaning over to punch Michael's shoulder lightly.

Michael half smiled before standing up, Calum and I stood up too brushing ourselves down. We began walking down the bridge and finally got onto flat ground. I had come to the conclusion that that this was never to be spoken about again, it was to stay in the past. Calum said he needed to go to the bathroom and with my house being the closest I offered that he use mine. My parents were away for the weekend anyway so they would never know "Thank you" Calum shouted as he ran up the stairs after I'd given him the directions to the bathroom upstairs.

I walked into the kitchen with Michael silently following behind me, I gestured for him to sit on one of the bar stools by the counter which he did while I searched the various cupboards full of various foods but none took my eye. I turned to Michael "Are you hungry?" I asked he shook his head keeping his eyes on me I decided to ignore him and go back to rummaging through the draws

"Calum's taking a while huh? He said he only needed to pee" I said looking around to the door and back at Michael who was still watching me intently I felt my cheeks burn up "Okay, what is it?" I asked placing my hands on my hips walking towards him slightly a light laugh escaped his lips as he shook his head "Nothing" He spoke for the first time since we'd left the bridge "Why are you watching me like that?" I asked leaning against the counter "I was just thinking" He said clearing his throat awkwardly "What about?" I asked quickly I was worried that he had something on his mind and I wanted him to feel like he could tell me "About you" He said a slight smirk growing on his face.

I pushed myself up to sit up on the counter in front of him "Why me?" I asked looking to my lap "What you said earlier, did you mean it?" He asked lifting my chin to make my eyes meet his "Of course I meant it, Michael" I told him gulping "Well that's good" He said standing up "Why is that?" "Because I think I'm in love with you" before I could get my head around what he said he pulled me towards him and collided his lips with mine.
