Michaels POV

For once I wanted company but I didn't have any. The one time that I didn't want to just be sat in my room playing my play station lost in thoughts of killing zombies or completing missions there was no one there.

I was home alone for the weekend thanks to my cousins wedding that my mum didn't bother asking me to go to just taking a guess that my answer would have been a negative one.

The one good thing about being home alone was that no one had been home to see my bruises that had begun fading now.

It had been two days since Calum's party disaster and I still had the image of Ivy slamming on the window of Calum's room as she tried to get out stuck in my head.

All I did was stand there, Staring up at her as the blonde kid, that was the reason for her moving here in the first place, ran into the fire. I began pacing up and down getting nervous with the longer it took for them to get out when they fell through the front door. His arm was holding onto her jumper I ran to her and hugged her I didn't know what else I could do. I felt tears pouring down my cheeks and I apologised again before running away her before she could see them.

I didn't really have my journey mapped out. I just needed to get away. My feet brought me to a halt beside the river and I sat down on a bench just watching out over the water.

I'm not sure how long I was just sitting there before I heard my phone buzzing. I pulled it out and Calum's name was flashing on it I pulled it across and waited for him to talk "Dude, where did you fuck off to?" He asked "I went home. My head hurt, How much trouble are you in then?" I asked I could hear him puffing his cheeks out through the phone "Not that much. I'm in more trouble for the drinking than the fire. There isn't as much damage as expected so it's okay but I can't do anything outside of the house for at least 3 weeks so" He continued I could pictures him shrugging his shoulders "Oh right"

"Did you tell Ivy while you were upstairs?" He asked "No I didn't. I don't think I will now either" I told him brushing my hair from my eyes "Why not? Michael I know you like her so I don't get why you don't just tell her" He said I shook my head even though he couldn't see me.

Then my eyes set on someone walking down the street and I recognised him instantly "I have to go Calum" I said I could hear him saying something but I ignored him and hung up standing up to follow Luke down the street.
