Old Friends

When we moved from Sydney all the way to Melbourne to get away from him I didn't expect to see his blonde mop of hair with his piercing blue eyes watching me from the coffee shop I work in.

A slight smirk appeared on his face as he saw me watching him I grabbed Kylie's arm and dragged her across the street "Hey! Ouch!" She shouted slapping my hand away from my tight grip on her arm I could feel my breath getting quicker and sharper as I felt the walls coming towards me after 3 months I'd thought I'd gotten over my panic attacks whenever I saw a pair of black skinny jeans of blonde hair like his but this wasn't a look alike this was him. He was really here. I looked across in through the window as Luke was making his way out onto the street I ducked behind a car pulling Kylie down with me her long brown hair flying around into my face I covered her mouth before she could talk.

How had he found us? We'd moved miles away from our home to get away from him but there he was. Kylie pushed my hand away from her face "Ivy what the hell is going on?" She whispered loudly when I didn't answer she continued "If you don't tell me what's going on I'll scream" She took in a deep breath I leant up and noticed Luke had gone "Follow me. I'll tell you when we get to my house" I said in a hushed whisper and I got up and ran for home.

Both Kylie and I collapsed onto the couch in our large family room gasping for breath from the run "Alright" Kylie spluttered through deep breaths "Spill. Why did you make me do that? I think I've lost weight. I need a pizza" She noted as she poked her tiny stomach I shook my head and chuckled at her and began to tell her how I had met Luke Hemmings.
