"Enough of this. Shiro and Miri. Kayo ang mauuna."
Sumunod naman ang dalawa at pumunta at tumayo sa center ng room. Pinasunod kami ni Meister at umupo kami sa mga upuan sa gilid. Tumabi ako kay Clyde na three chairs ang layo kila Clauss. Hana looked at us, siguro nagtataka kung bakit, but she didn't say anything and neither dis Clauss. I should just focus on Shiro and Miri.
I've never seen this side of them, not once. Well, except maybe si Shiro, dahil seryoso ang ekpresyon niya ng kinalaban niya ako sa back forest. But I never saw how Miri looks like when she's serious.
Nagsimula ng gumalaw ang shadow illusions at dahan-dahan silang napapalibutan nito. Both of them did a defensive stance. I glanced at Meister Rav since he said he controls them with the help of his gift. As of now, nakatingin lang siya kila Shiro at ganun din ang mga shadow illusions.
"Is it possible that he controls it one by one?" I asked the silent guy beside me. Kanina pa siya seryoso at nag-aanalyze. It's his 'captain mode', eh?
"That's impossible. He would ran out of strength to weave magic. But with his 'gift', maybe." He said as he watch the shadows intensely.
"What is his gift?" I muttered.
"Would I be so curious kung alam ko? Tsk." I rolled my eyes. Inaatake na naman siya ng kasungitan.
"You won this argument, just because what you said made sense." I hissed at him.
"I always win." He said.
"Yeah, be conceited like that." Hindi ko na siya pinansin at tinuon ang atensyon ko sa laban na nangyayari.
The shadow illusions jumped at Shiro and Miri, all of it at the same time. They took a step backward para iwasan ito causing them to collide on each other's back at ma-corner ng mga shadows.
Shiro recovered easily and defeated two at his side. Ng mapatumba niya, ay parang bula na lang itong naglaho. May natitira pang lima at lahat sila ay kay Miri sumusugod. Miri defended well enough to defeat two of them, the other three caught her by surprise though. Muntikan na siyang matumba, buti na lang at sinuportahan siya ni Shiro na ginamit ang pagkakataong yun upang sipain sa mukha ang malapit na shadow sa kanya. There's two left..
The two looked at each other and smiled. Masyado silang nakakampante agad, they didn't notice that there are shadows forming behind them. Napansin ito ni Shiro, he deafeated the two shadows in front of them at si Miri ang tumalo sa kaka-form pa lang na mga shadows.
Hindi ko na nabilang ang mga shadows na lumabas, but we spent the whole hour at laban lang ito ni Shiro at Miri. Eventually, tinigil na ni Meister ang pagpapalabas ng shadows niya dahil halata na hindi na kaya ng dalawa na lumaban pa. Habang tumatagal kasi ay dinodoble ni Meister ang shadow na pinapalabas niya. Halos naghahabol na ng hininga at naghihinang lumapit kay Meister ang dalawa. I'm proud of them, lalo pa at may suot-suot kaming mga weights. I could not imagine how fatigued they're feeling.
"Well done. Ang susunod ay si Clauss at Hana." Sumunod agad ang dalawa na kanina ko pa napapansing tahimik lang din.
"I hope na nasa laban na 'to ang concentration nila." I said outloud.
"Just trust them." Napalingon ako kay Clyde na nakatingin lang sa dalawa na nakatayo na sa center ng room.
"Get ready." The two of them did a stance and waited for the shadows to appear.
Hana kicked a shadow on it's chest ng bigla itong sumulpot sa harapan niya. And in an instance bigla na lang silang napalibutan. Unlike Shiro and Miri na magkalapit na kinalaban ang mga shadows, silang dalawa naman ay tumakbo sa magkabilang parte ng room.
