"You mean basta-basta na lang binigay sa inyo?"
"Yes. I checked if it was real. It was." Clyde summoned the golden card from his spatial ring and tossed it at Shiro. 'Di makapaniwalang sinuri ito ni Shiro ng maigi.
"Parang may mali. Why would they do that?" I agreed with Clauss and sighed.
"I don't know. May sinabi yung lalaki about something the Phantom faction wants. Hindi ko alam kung ano yun." I said. Palihim akong tumingin kay Clyde. I noticed how it seems like what the Xerzene man said yesterday didn't faze him at all. Alam ko na may idea si Clyde sa sinasabi ng lalaki. I bet Grandpa told him a lot of things.
"Buti na lang nabigay satin ang golden card. Bakit hindi kayo masaya?" Sabi ni Miri sabay hampas sa likod ni Shiro. Kinuha niya ang card at pinagmasadan ito.
"Dahil dito, at least makakalabas na tayo." Masayang sambit niya sabay ngisi samin.
"Not so fast. Alam mo na may hahanapain pa tayong lagusan." Sumimangot si Miri sa sinabi ni Hana at binalik ang golden card kay Clyde.
"I mean. Gusto ko lang naman i-lighten up yung mood." She pouted to herself and sighed.
"The plan stays the same. Tomorrow we'll scatter around the forest by pair. Eury you're still with me." Sabi ni Clyde. I furrowed my brows at him questioningly.
"Why?" Napalingon ang lahat sakin and then kay Clyde. Tiningnan lang niya ako at walang ibang sinabi. His eyes are unlike the ones I always love to stare at. This time it's full of emotions and resolve that I don't understand what for.
"I'm your captain, Eury. Nakakalimutan mo na ba?" I felt myself flinched at his words. Alam ko naman na siya ang captain. It's not like I'm questioning out of reason.
I looked at him seriously. Kill your emotions. Kill your emotions. It's easier to make decisions that way. Tama nga si lolo. Emotions are hindrance in a battlefield.
"I didn't. As your vice captain, I'm questioning. Mas mabilis tayo if you and I form another team. I can protect myself, captain." I said without moving a muscle on my face.
I know the others are just watching us silently. Hindi maitatanggi that Clyde and I are like the pillars of the SCC. He's the captain and I'm the second in command. Ngayon lang din naman kami nagkasagutan ng ganito kaya malamang nagtataka ang mga itsura nila.
"Obey my orders. No one goes solo." He said at tumalikod na paalis.
I felt numb all of the sudden. Have I went out of line? No I don't think so. He's the captain alright. I smiled bitterly.
Naglalad na ako paalis doon. Buti na lang malaki ang kweba at madaming mga parang kwarto kung saan pwedeng mag-stay. I don't think I want to see anyone right now.

Anong nangyari?! My gosh hindi ako makapaniwala sa nangyari kanina. Nagkatinginan kami ni Hana at umiling lang siya sakin.
"What the- May dapat ba tayong malaman sa dalawang yun?" Sabi ni Shiro sabay akbay kay Clauss. Tinanggal naman ni Clauss ang pagkaakbay nitonsa kanya at tiningnan kami ng seryoso.
"We know Clyde. He doesn't do things he's not sure of. Siya pa din ang captain natin." Nagkatinginan kaming tatlo at sabay-sabay na tumango.
"Although he never acts like that with Eury." Sabi ni Hana na tinanguan ko.
"Naawa ako kay Eury. Mukha kasing nagulat siya kanina." Malungkot na sinabi ko. Tapos alam naming lahat at obvious naman kasi na iba ang treatment nila para sa isa't isa compare samin. Para silang may mundong hindi namin kayang pasukin.
