Queen Clumsy: Chapter 3 ~ I'm going to have a Panic Attack for God's Sake!
"I'm freaking out, okay, Mia?!" I fan my face to exaggerate my point. Mia and I decided to switch locations and go to her house instead of mine. We were currently in Mia's room with me sitting on her bed and Mia sitting in a chair.
"What do you mean you're freaking out, Adrienne?! You literally kissed the hot new guy on his first day here! That's #GOALS right there!" Mia exclaimed. She gave me one of those smiles that screamed "You actually did something right, Adrienne! Congrats! "
"First of all, that is not goals!" I screamed. "And second, what the hell am I supposed to do the next time I see him, Mia?!"
"You kiss him again." Mia teased, smirking at me.
"Hell no! But for real Mia, what am I supposed to do?!" I yelled.
"Hm. Good question." Mia taps her chin.
"It'll be so awkward and I hate awkward situations and he's even my neighbor and what am I supposed to say and what am I supposed to do and-" I ramble on.
"Adrienne, stop worrying. The best thing that can happen is that you don't see him again. And if you do, just walk away with your head held high, hon." Mia reassured me, smiling.
"But I'm freaking out!"
"Adrienne, look, there's a party this Friday." Mia told me.
"Mhm. So what? I'm never gonna go anyway." I replied.
"That's where you're wrong, Adrienne. You're going whether you like it or not. You're going to show everybody what they're missing, hon." Mia smirks.
"Mia... I don't know about that. Alec will probably be there, and I don't want to see him. Ever." I bit down on my bottom lip, trying to contain my nerves.
"Exactly, you'll walk in with your make-up done perfectly, because I did it," I scoff at Mia's ego, "You'll be wearing the sexiest outfit ever. You'll show Alec what he's missing, and you'll also tell him that he can't play around with you."
"Genius." I tell Mia as I gave her a mischievous smirk.
"Does that mean you'll go to the party?" She asked, her voice hopeful.
"Hell yes." I winked.
"Now tell me the story of how the heartbroken Adrienne met the sexiest man alive!" Mia asked cheerfully.
But I didn't.
I told her about the story of an asshole named Rocky and a boss named Adrienne.

"Wow." Was all Mia could say after my story as she looked at me in shock.
In the past half hour, I gave her a rundown of how we met, how the nicknames came to be, and how much he could piss me off by just breathing.
