Ch. 18: Ever Heard of Privacy?

Chapter Eighteen

Penny’s POV:

    When we walked back into the house I walked into the kitchen. “Let me see, let me see!” Aunt Claire said gushing when I put my hand out for her to examine the nail polish. Clover then pulled me upstairs so I could shower before dinner.

    The warm water felt good on my skin, finally making my muscles relax after the long day. I lathered shampoo onto my scalp which then dripped into my eyes making them burn. Finally washing them I heard the door to my bathroom open.

    “Hello?” I asked thinking it was just Clover.

    “Penny?” I heard a familiar deep voice. Oh my god this was not happening! Not while I’m in the shower!

“Colton?” I said feeling really vulnerable trying to find SOMETHING to cover up with if he were to open the shower curtain.

“I needed to talk to you,” He said I could hear him stepping forward.

“NOT NOW I’M IN THE SHOWER!” I screamed, anger was making my blood boil.

“I know that but I need to make sure you will listen to me,” He pleaded.

“Have you ever heard of something called privacy?!” I said completely avoiding answering that last sentence. I wanted nothing to do with him. He was exactly like Johnny and I don’t need that in my life.

“Yeah, I just figured now you can’t run away from me,” He said and I could hear the smirk on his face. I wanted to slap it off of his face.

“Well I’m not going anywhere. But YOU are,” I said making it clear that he was not welcome in this bathroom while I was butt naked in the shower.

“I’m not going anywhere until you hear me out,” He said smugly. What a complete asshole.

“Fine have it your way,” I said knowing exactly what to do. I took a deep breath and screamed at the top of my lungs.

    “What are you doing!” Colton said.

“Getting you out of this bathroom,” I said smugly back. It only took a minute before Clover was in the bathroom.

“WHAT THE HELL DO YOU THINK YOU’RE DOING?!” Clover screamed. I could practically hear how red her face was.

“Well....I...I was...ummmm...I just wanted…” He stuttered not knowing what to say.

“You perv!” She said, “I suggest you get your ass out of this bathroom before I shove my foot so far up your ass your breath will smell like feet,” I heard her say and I covered my mouth making sure no one heard me laughing. This is why I love her.

I hear footsteps and then Clover spoke again, “He’s gone Penny,” She said as I let out my breath, “I knew he wanted to talk to you, but that was seriously wrong and perverted,” She said as I could hear her walking to the door.

“Thanks for getting rid of him,” I said relieved he was gone.

“Anytime,” She said as she closed the door, making sure to lock it before she did. I relaxed again and applied conditioner before I stepped out and dried off with a towel.

I got dressed in comfy pants and a shirt and made my way to the stairs. Colton better be at his house, was all I could think as I walked into the kitchen. I peered around the corner and gasped.
