Chapter Thirty Two
Clover’s POV:
“Penny,” I said opening our bedroom door. I got up around an hour ago to meet Ryan here and pack her bag. I was really starting to like him.
When Penny didn’t respond, I walked over and said her name again, “Penny,” She breathed in and out peacefully. No way in hell was she sleeping in today.
I slapped her face saying, “Get up you buttface!” Her eyes finally shot open. Good, I thought slapping her face once again before taking a step back with a smirk on my face.
She groaned, “What was that for?” I chuckled.
“It’s time to get up,” I said then turned on my heel and walked out of the room before I remembered something, “Pretty boy’s downstairs waiting for you,” I said smirking at my nickname for Colton.
I walked back downstairs, right into Ryan’s opened arms. He kissed my cheek as Colton said, “Is she coming down?” Ever since he got here he couldn’t get that stupid smirk off of his face.
“No idiot,” I said sarcastically, “I decided to poison her so she won’t wake up for the next week,”
He chuckled. The coffee machine beeped and everyone got up to get a cup. We all gathered around the kitchen table just in time for Penny to come strolling in, a smile on her face.
“So do I get to know what we’re doing today NOW?” She asked with that same stupid smile on her face as Colton had on earlier.
“I guess…” Colton said playfully.
“Oh just tell her!” I whined playfully.“Alright alright!” He said throwing his hands in the air showing his non-existant frustration.
“Well?” Penny asked when he still didn’t answer.
“I’m taking you to Universal Studios,” He rushed out and Penny’s mouth popped open.
“You’re kidding?!” She shreked smiling. I’ve never seen a happier look on her face then that moment and all I felt was happiness for her. Good she needs a break from everything.
“Nope, but we gotta go,” Colton said pushing his chair out and standing up, “Before we go, Ryan I want to talk to you about something really fast,” Colton said.
“Sure what is it?” Ryan said lazily leaning his arm on the back of my seat.
“Remember when we left early from the wedding because Penny’s drink was spiked?” Colton said and the room suddenly went cold. I knew this was coming sooner or later so better get it over with. I just hope Ryan doesn’t do anything too stupid.
“Of course, we all want to strangle that little prick,” Ryan said, “What about it?”
“Well, the only person that gave her any drink was your brother,” Colton said frowning, thinking back to that night.
“THAT LITTLE SON OF A B-” Ryan began but I cut him off trying to calm him down.
“Ryan! Calm down! He might have a good explanation-” I began resting my arm on his shoulder even though I wanted to rip Tristan’s head off just as much as Ryan did.
“NO! He’s gonna get!” Ryan said pushing his chair out roughly, my arm dropping to my side.
“Clover go with him and make sure he doesn’t do anything stupid,” Penny said to me, but I barely heard.
“Okay, but no promises I won’t join him in the beating,” I said over my shoulder before I followed him out of the house.
By the time I was getting in the car, Ryan had it started it and thrown it in reverse, “So what’s the plan?” I asked while he sped down the street.
“Beat the shit out of him,” He growled and I laughed. I laughed because I could already see that pricks expression when we stormed into the house.
We were at his house in a matter of 5 minutes. Both of us jumped out of the car and stormed into his house. I let Ryan go first because I’ve only been to his house once, and I didn’t know where I was going.
“TRISTAN!” Ryan growled headed for the kitchen. There sat Tristan, his hair messed up, with who else but Sarah nestled on his lap, sucking on his face. What a big freaking surprise.
Breaking the kiss, Tristan looked annoyed, “What?” He snapped but when he saw Ryan’s expression he winced away.
“Did you or did you not spike Penny’s drink the night of Aunt Rita’s wedding?” He asked and I could tell he was trying his best not to rip his throat out now.
“Well…” He said not making eye contact with Ryan. Wow. Just wow.
“God damn it Tristan! What the hell were you thinking?!” He screamed and I saw Sarah tense up.
“I wanted Sarah! I didn’t want Penny to get in the way of me and Sarah and I could tell she was jealous so I slipped something in her drink!” Tristan said.
"YOU LITTLE FU-" I began and lept at him but Ryan grabbed me. Sarah stood up in front of him and I smirked. Like she would go up against me. Please, I could rip her apart.
"Keep your girl under control," He muttered and I kept sqirming to get out of Ryan's grasp. He was so going to get it!
"Speak of Penny, where is she these days?" Sarah asked a smile coming across her face. What was she up to?
"With Colton, staying the night at the Hampton. Why do you want to know?" Ryan said and I almost turned around and smacked him. Why would he tell them that!?
"Looks like we're sleeping out tonight," Sarah said with a deviesh smile on her face as she sashayed out of the room.
