Maya's P.O.V.

"Tiana, you starting to get on my nerves. It wasn't shit, you act like I can't be nice."

"You can't, I don't like her. She seems off."

I frowned. "She's new. The fuck you expect?"

"I expect you to talk to me and only me. Lucky I let you have them other little friends you got now."

"Let," I laughed, "girl get out my face before I do some to yo dumb ass."

She stood up to me frowning up in my face. "You won't do shit."

I snapped grabbing her by the neck holding her against the locker. I watched as I saw her feet dangling from off the ground and smirked.

"Maya!" She gasped.

I rolled my eyes and tightened my grip. "Next time you try the stupid shit, I ain't gone stop. Got it?"

She nodded holding onto my hand trying to stay conscious. I held her until I heard a teacher's voice nearby.

"Ms. Garcia, please release Ms. Allen, or I will be forced to call Principal Bates."

I scoffed and loosened my grip on her, not trying to release her. "Don't ever try that shit with me girl."

I dropped her and she gasped for air hard as shit. I shook my head and walked towards the gym where they were holding registration.

"Maya."

I turned around to see my teammate, Kayla. "Wassup Kay?"

We dapped up walking to the gym together. "So who's that girl you were talking to earlier?"

"Who?"

"I don't know her name, but she slim thick with some straight hair."

"More specific."

"You a little hoe." She laughed. "But she had a sexy smile and she was wearing a red top."

"Oh, you talking bout Jamila."

"You hopped on that yet?"

I chuckled. "Yet? I'm not tryna get her."

"Bruh, that girl mad fine with a banging body. You telling me you not tryna hop on that?"

"Nah, I don't want to. She just a little nerd man I ain't finna mess with ha'."

"What if we bet on it."

I smirked. "Now you talking my language."

"Alright, bet a whole Benjamin you can't get that before the party Friday."

"Shit I could get her before the end of the day if I really wanted to."

"Good, shake on it."

I looked down at her hand chuckling. "Oh, I'm not doing it."

"Why not? Quick money."

"Dead. That girl sweet as hell and I'm not finna fuck up the little friendship we building for no hunnid'."

"Five hundred?"

"You really sick and twisted."

I walked to the gym door and heard her yell. "What about a stack?!?"

I stopped and turned around slowly looking at the smirk on her face.

"What did you say?"

"I'll give yo ass a whole stack."

"Dead ass."

"Dead ass g."

I shook my head frowning. "I wouldn't even do it if it was to save my life. And for this sick ass shit, we ain't cool no more Kay. Take yo ass on."
